To reach the Theater in Control Resonant’s West Incursion Zone, unlock Shift, cross the rooftops and scaffolding, descend beside the illuminated theater marquee, then pass through the subway and return to the surface near JULY’S BOOKS & COMICS. From there, use Shift to climb the red-patterned wall, cross the elevated bridge, and enter through the double doors.
Before you start: unlock Shift
Shift is needed for the gravity-altered traversal on this route. The walkthroughs tie the ability to the Incursion Fault; one notes that a chasm blocks the direct approach until Shift is available. It lets Dylan align with Gravity Anomalies and run along walls and vertical streets. If you do not have Shift yet, complete the Incursion Fault first.

Cross the rooftops to the theater marquee
- At the street’s end, find the wall marked “PATTERNED AREA” and use Shift to climb it.
- Jump across the rooftops and graffiti-marked scaffolding. The “CHASM AHEAD” warning is a useful confirmation that you are following the route.
- Descend to street level beside the illuminated theater marquee.
Go through the subway and return to the street
At the marquee, enter the subway stairwell rather than trying to enter the Theater directly. Follow the station corridors and take the exit stairs back to the surface. JULY’S BOOKS & COMICS is the key landmark when you emerge. The subway entrance is also described as directly ahead of the Empire Cinema, which can help orient you on the approach.

- Near JULY’S BOOKS & COMICS, locate the large red-patterned wall and use Shift to climb it.
- Cross the elevated bridge walkway. A red blood mural is another landmark described on the route after leaving the station.
- Climb the stairs, open the double doors, and continue through the red-carpeted hall into the main room.
The “Entered the Dance Hall” notice confirms that you have arrived in the Theater area.

Reaching Theater Hall advances the West Incursion Zone Resonant quest toward the Dancer encounter. A walkthrough reports that defeating the Dancer presents a choice between Push and Ground Slam: Push is described as useful for displacement and crowd control, while Ground Slam is a height-enhanced slam attack.
