Remedy’s CONTROL Resonant Hotfix 1.4.1 fixes two issues introduced by Game Update 1.4.0: a Mold interaction that blocked progress in The Park Resonant quest, and a movement bug that disrupted momentum when moving from Dash into Elevate. MP1st reported the hotfix was available on October 2, 2026, listing the PS5 version as 1.400.100 and Xbox Series X|S and PC as 1.4.1.0.

The Park Resonant quest blocker
Players could not eat the Mold required for a step in The Park Resonant quest, making it impossible to progress. Remedy says this interaction issue is fixed.

A movement fix in 1.4.0 inadvertently broke momentum transfer from Dash into Elevate. Remedy describes the symptom as Dash canceling while using Elevate and says the momentum issue has been fixed. There is a naming inconsistency in the official note: its title and summary refer to Elevate, while the detailed movement note says momentum from dashing should carry over to “Surge.”

What the notes do not establish
Remedy’s notes enumerate these two fixes; they do not say that every other reported issue was resolved. In its October 2 report, MP1st listed other problems players were still reporting at that time: the Trusted Spanner artifact and Firebreaker protection task not triggering, Underhill missing from the Park, Rangers failing to follow players during escort tasks, and Carbon Copy 3 failing in some progression states. It also noted reports that heavy attacks no longer staggered or launched mini-bosses, while expressing uncertainty about whether that behavior was a bug or intentional. This is a dated secondary-source account, not a current official known-issues list.
How to report a problem that persists
Remedy directs players with continuing issues to its Help Center support flow. Open the official hotfix page, use the chat bubble to start a ticket, describe what happened, then choose Bug Reports/Game Froze-Crash or another relevant category. Include the platform and, if requested, your User ID, a screenshot or video, error details, DxDiag, or MSInfo. This gives support concrete information to assess the report.
