Which bosses require Shift?
The reported routes for The Dancer and The Collective require Shift. The guide says Shift is unlocked through the Incursion Fault in the West Incursion Zone. For The Dancer, unlock it before going to the theater; for The Collective, use it as part of reaching the Park encounter and opening the central gate.

The Artist is reported to offer one choice among Barrage, Volatile Anomaly, and Shield. The same guide lists 2,000 Source as an additional reward.

Each of these three encounters is associated with a pair of listed options: Ignite or Inferno for The Deserter; Push or Ground Slam for The Dancer; Spore Burst or Growth for The Collective; and Spike or Astral Rebuke for The Physicist. The guide presents these as alternatives, not abilities received together. The available reporting does not establish which option is stronger in practice.
