PowerPyx’s September 28, 2026 guide lists nine collectible locations in Central, the game’s second zone. They include two Dylan’s Sketchbooks and two Freeze Frame Cameras, plus one each of the FBC Taskboard, Dog, Secret Hideout, Testing Facility, and Taxi. Use the routes below to find them and solve the associated puzzles; the rooftop camera requires the Reach ability.

Where to find Central’s collectibles
1. Freeze Frame Camera at the Watchtower
- Start at the Watchtower fast-travel door and descend all the way down.
- Enter the open storage room at the side and climb the scaffolding.
- Before reaching the ledge near the camera, look for an opening in the ceiling. Climb through it and drop down behind the camera.
2. FBC Taskboard outside the Field Office
Look for an unmarked NPC just outside the Field Office entrance, near the “O” in the map label “Office.” The person calls out as you approach and has a red interaction prompt. Speak with them to make the Central Taskboard appear; this board spawns the other boards. If the NPC is absent or cannot be interacted with, progress the story and return.

- Go downstairs and open the door on the bottom floor.
- Step outside until you hear the camera reset.
- Return through that door and go upstairs to get behind the camera.
4. Dylan’s Sketchbook: “Live on Stage”
In southwest Central, find the apartment building at street level behind a black FBC vehicle. Go up the first staircase and enter the first door on the left. Inspect the instruments, then arrange them as follows:
- Blue guitar: left
- Keyboard: middle
- Drum: right corner
- Brown guitar: right side
- Microphone: on its stand
5. Secret Hideout in Wear’Em & Wash’Em
Enter the laundromat. If a red barrier blocks the entrance, follow the red lines overhead and destroy the connected objects. Inside, read the notes on the wall and set the machines by column, counting from left to right:

- Column 1: turn on the one interactable machine.
- Columns 2 and 3: turn on both interactable machines in each column.
- Columns 4 and 5: leave every machine off.
- Column 6: turn on the machine nearest the door; leave the other two off.
The door opens to a health upgrade.
6. Dog and its toy
The dog is on an eastern Central rooftop. Its toy is at the end of the alley below, in the direction the dog faces.

7. Dylan’s Sketchbook: “The Cat Picnic”
In eastern Central, inspect the Cat Picnic tarp in a yard beside a blue house. Arrange the items this way:

8. Testing Facility southeast of the Patterned Factory
Reach the pipe in the open pit southeast of the Patterned Factory. The challenge involves four Charge cores and two charges. Activate the switch to start the 60-second timer, then move charges between the blinking blue and red spots so the cores do not overload.
PowerPyx advises keeping charges moving and estimates that a spot allows roughly 15 seconds before a restart is forced; the guide says the timing seems somewhat random, so treat that as an estimate rather than a guaranteed sequence. When all stations turn green, use the switch near the computer icon and enter the opened door to find a Power Upgrade crate.

9. Taxi north of the deserted road checkpoint
On the main road north of the deserted road checkpoint, interact with the taxi whose roof light is lit. On the next cycle, choose the taxi with its headlight, taillight, and roof light all lit. Repeat the roof-light-only taxi, then the three-light taxi, to exit the Threshold.
When to collect Central’s items
PowerPyx’s game-wide collectible guide counts 67 collectible locations tied to trophies and achievements: 7 FBC Taskboards, 11 Dylan’s Sketchbooks, 8 Dogs, 6 Secret Hideouts, 6 Testing Facilities, 7 Taxis, 14 Freeze Frame Cameras, and 8 Pope’s Research Balloons. It also counts 42 FBC Tasks.
The guide says collectibles are not missable and can be collected in free roam after the story. Some locations require traversal abilities, so post-story cleanup can avoid returning to blocked routes. The abilities it identifies for collectibles are Shift from “Jesse Sightings: The Incursion Fault,” Reach from “Jesse Sightings: The Subway Fault,” Ground Slam from the West Incursion Zone Resonant, and Ignite/Inferno from the Central Zone Resonant.
For cleanup, work region by region rather than repeatedly crossing the map. Central’s listed fast-travel doors are Central Frontline, Field Office, Patterned Factory (on the route to the Central Zone Resonant), and Watchtower. Fast travel requires interacting with a Fast Travel Door; it is not available from anywhere.
