How can I play audio on two Bluetooth devices?
On supported Galaxy phones running One UI 2 or later (Android 10 Q and above), Samsung’s Dual Audio feature can play audio through two Bluetooth audio devices at once. Pair both devices first, then open Quick Settings > Media and select both outputs. The phone’s volume keys adjust both; the Media panel provides separate sliders. Connecting a third Bluetooth device disconnects one of the two paired devices. Feature availability depends on the phone and software version; check Samsung’s Dual Audio instructions.
Can different apps use different audio outputs?
Separate app sound can route media from a selected app to a Bluetooth device while the phone’s main audio uses another output. The Bluetooth option may only appear after a Bluetooth device is connected, and the menu path can vary by Galaxy model and software. Samsung describes the feature in its Separate app sound guide.

Why won’t my Galaxy phone find or reconnect to the speaker?
- Check pairing mode and power. Make sure the speaker is turned on, charged, and in pairing mode. Also verify Bluetooth is enabled on the phone.
- Move the devices closer. Samsung’s SmartThings troubleshooting guidance gives 30 feet as a general Bluetooth range reference, not a guarantee; distance can vary with the environment and devices. Reduce obstacles and try again.
- Restart and update. Restart the phone and speaker. Update the phone and SmartThings app, and install a speaker update if its manufacturer provides one. If using SmartThings, close and reopen the app.
- Try the phone’s Bluetooth settings. Pair directly through Settings > Connections > Bluetooth. Some devices may appear under a MAC address rather than a familiar product name.
- Remove the saved pairing and try again. If the speaker was previously paired, unpair or remove its saved entry from the phone’s Bluetooth settings, then put the speaker back into pairing mode and pair it again.
- Test another Bluetooth device. If another device pairs successfully, the original speaker may need a reset or help from its manufacturer. If no Bluetooth device pairs, follow Samsung’s phone troubleshooting guidance or contact Samsung support.

Why is sound still coming from my phone?
Pairing and audio output are separate steps: after connecting, check the phone’s media output or device panel and choose the speaker. If the speaker is selected but audio still plays elsewhere, check whether another connected device has taken the output. Samsung lists external connections among possible reasons Galaxy audio may not come from the phone’s built-in speaker; its Bluetooth support page explains how to inspect connections. Media and Device panels and their labels are not identical across all Galaxy phones.
