Several cloud services advertise looping prerecorded videos as YouTube live streams at 1080p. The best fit depends on more than a “1080p” label: compare the exact file formats and limits, playlist and scheduling controls, stream destinations, recovery behavior, and total cost for your number of streams and hours. The provider details below are claims on their product pages, checked October 3, 2026—not hands-on test results or guarantees of delivered quality or uptime.
Quick comparison of YouTube loop services
StreamNeo is first to consider for a YouTube-only cloud loop: it keeps an uploaded video or playlist running without a home computer, supports files as uploaded up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day. Other providers may suit workflows that need different destinations, file limits, or controls.

Free files up to 1.5 GB; paid files up to 5 GB. Names YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Kick, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, and custom RTMP. | Page says “from $4/mo”; describes eligible new accounts receiving roughly an hour of standard-quality free credits. Credit use depends on quality, frame rate, and duration; eligibility may be restricted or adjusted. Provider page. |
| YTStream | Lists 1080p Full HD, looping playlists, and unlimited 24/7 streaming in the advertised tier. | YouTube-focused; lists auto-restart and dashboard analytics. The reviewed page did not establish a detailed file-format or file-size list. | $19 per stream per month for 1080p, with displayed volume discounts at five or more streams. Advertises a $1 offer for 100 hours at 1080p; offers can change. Provider page. |

Lists destination logos, but the reviewed page text did not settle simultaneous multi-destination use or file-size limits. | No reliable current price was available in the reviewed page capture; its selector showed “No plans available for this duration.” Provider page. |
| YtLive Stream | Advertises looping and shuffling files, custom playlists, recurring scheduling, and up to 1080p at 60 fps, with bitrates up to 6000 kbps. | Lists MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WebM, and FLV, with automatic transcoding claimed. Advertises a 24-hour Basic trial without a credit card. Provider page. |
These are different billing units, not like-for-like quotes: Streamloop uses credits and an optional monthly plan, YTStream prices per stream, and Streaminal lists a subscription and storage allowance. Confirm current renewal terms, overages, number of simultaneous streams, and trial conversion conditions with each provider before paying.
What “1080p support” does—and does not—tell you
Input resolution, frame rate, and bitrate
YouTube accepts 1080p live input. For H.264, YouTube’s encoder guidance lists 5 Mbps recommended for 1080p at 30 fps and 6 Mbps minimum; for 1080p at 60 fps, it lists 10 Mbps recommended and 4 Mbps minimum. Those figures are specific to YouTube’s H.264 table; its AV1 and H.265 recommendations differ. Check the current YouTube encoder settings rather than treating a provider’s bitrate figure as universally optimal.

Ingest is not viewer playback
A provider’s “1080p” label describes its advertised output capability, not independently verified quality. YouTube transcodes incoming live video into formats for viewers, so the incoming resolution and a viewer’s available playback resolution are not necessarily the same. Ask the provider what resolution and frame rate it actually sends, whether it transcodes your uploaded file, and which ingest protocol it uses. YouTube recommends RTMPS for secure ingestion; its LiveStreams API documentation lists RTMP, including RTMPS, as well as HLS and DASH.
How to choose for your files and channel
1. Match your video library
Check every format, maximum file size, storage allowance, audio behavior, and whether files are transcoded. Streamloop lists several formats and separate free and paid file caps; YtLive Stream lists formats and claims automatic transcoding; Streaminal lists files up to 15 GB. The reviewed YTStream and Loop Stream pages did not establish detailed file limits. If your files exceed a listed cap—or a provider does not publish one—ask about splitting or transcoding before subscribing.

Note: iPadOS 17 or later is required for USB-C iPad compatibility. Switch / Xbox / PS5/ PS4 work fine when HDCP is turned off
- Durable USB Capture Card: The aluminum alloy casing easily dissipates heat and is lightweight while effectively shielding against EMI, ensuring stable signal transmission. The built-in cable features 26AWG (2C) + 30AWG (1P) tinned copper conductors, ensuring excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance, enhancing durability, and reducing signal loss
2. Confirm the exact loop behavior
Decide whether you need one video to repeat, a playlist to play in order, shuffle, repeat counts, scheduled runs, or recurring schedules. These are not interchangeable: a provider may advertise looping without offering the playlist control or scheduling pattern your channel needs. Check whether you can change content while a stream is live.
3. Match destinations and stream count
For a single YouTube channel, a YouTube-focused stream may be enough. If you need several channels or destinations at once, verify whether the provider allows simultaneous output or charges for separate streams. Streaminal describes one destination per Basic stream; the reviewed Loop Stream page did not settle simultaneous multi-destination use. Do not assume that a list of destination logos means one stream can broadcast to all of them at once.

4. Check scheduling, recovery, and quota behavior
Look for calendar scheduling, time-zone handling, recurring runs, stream monitoring, and what happens after a dropped connection. Confirm whether restarts are automatic and what happens when a plan’s credits, hours, or storage are exhausted. Provider descriptions of restart or recovery are product claims, not an independent uptime guarantee.
5. Compare cost using the same workload
Estimate continuous hours, resolution and frame rate, simultaneous streams, storage, and likely overages. A per-stream subscription, a credit balance, and a plan with included storage cannot be compared by headline price alone. Confirm current rates, renewal terms, cancellation, and trial conditions; published prices and offers may change.

Common checks before starting a 1080p loop
- Video profile: Match the output resolution and frame rate to the source material and your intended stream. A provider advertising 1080p does not establish that every uploaded file will be sent unchanged.
- Bitrate: Use YouTube’s current recommendations for the chosen codec and frame rate, not a single bitrate number detached from context.
- Stream key and destination: Confirm the provider’s destination setup matches the YouTube channel and stream you intend to use. Never share a stream key publicly; rotate it in YouTube if it is exposed.
- Copyright and channel rules: Only stream material you have the rights to broadcast. A prerecorded loop does not exempt a channel from YouTube copyright rules or its monetization policies, including rules on reused content. Check YouTube’s current policies for your specific material and use.
- Live health: After launch, review YouTube’s stream health and confirm the channel is receiving the intended video and audio. A provider’s advertised output or recovery feature is not a substitute for checking the actual destination.
Or let it run in the cloud
With StreamNeo, upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home: StreamNeo loops the uploaded video from the cloud, supports any quality up to 4K 60fps as uploaded at one price per slot, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly: $9.99 per month. For five or more slots, contact StreamNeo support. UPI and cards are available in India; card checkout is available worldwide.
