Which is better, CMF Phone 2 Pro or OnePlus N6?
There is no evidence here for a universal winner. The CMF Phone 2 Pro’s clearest hardware advantage is camera versatility: it has a dedicated telephoto camera with 2× optical zoom, alongside main and ultrawide cameras. That is useful if you want a separate zoom lens rather than relying on digital cropping. It does not, by itself, prove better image quality.

Does the CMF Phone 2 Pro have a telephoto camera?
Yes. Nothing lists a 50 MP telephoto camera with 2× optical zoom and up to 20× digital zoom. The phone also has a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide camera. Its published video specifications include 4K recording at 30 frames per second and 1080p recording at up to 60 frames per second. These are hardware and recording specifications, not independent image-quality results.
Which phone has the better display?
Nothing specifies a 6.77-inch, 1080 × 2392 flexible AMOLED panel with adaptive 120 Hz refresh for the CMF Phone 2 Pro. OnePlus lists a 6.8-inch 120 Hz display for the N6. The N6’s listed screen is marginally larger, while the CMF’s source specifies AMOLED technology and resolution. The available specifications do not provide a like-for-like brightness or display test, so refresh rate alone is not enough to name a screen winner.
Which phone has better battery life?
By stated capacity, the OnePlus N6 is ahead: OnePlus lists 8000 mAh typical and 7780 mAh rated, compared with 5000 mAh for the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Capacity is not the same as measured runtime, however; screen, software, network conditions and usage all affect endurance. There is no controlled head-to-head battery test in the cited evidence.
OnePlus’s June 30, 2026 launch announcement claims up to three days of battery life under typical usage, as well as up to 12.8 hours of gaming, 35 hours on social apps, 24 hours of YouTube playback and 906 hours on standby. These are company claims, not comparable test results against the CMF. OnePlus also says the N6 retains over 80% of its original battery capacity after seven years of regular use under its stated guarantee and 1,600 complete charge cycles; that longevity claim is not independently verified here.

Which phone charges faster?
The listed charging rates favor the OnePlus N6 at 45 W SUPERVOOC versus 33 W for the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Those wattages do not establish an exact side-by-side charging time. Nothing support says the CMF Phone 2 Pro takes approximately 65 minutes to charge fully with Nothing’s official charger. OnePlus’s launch announcement says the N6 can charge from 1% to 50% in 47 minutes; this is a manufacturer figure, not a matched test under the same conditions as Nothing’s claim. Charging time can depend on the charger, temperature and other conditions.
How do the phones differ in storage and durability?
Memory and storage
Nothing lists the CMF Phone 2 Pro with 8 GB RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB storage, plus microSD expansion up to 2 TB. OnePlus’s June 30, 2026 India launch announcement lists the N6 in 4 GB + 128 GB and 6 GB + 128 GB configurations. The CMF listing also mentions up to 16 GB RAM booster; this is not the same as a physical 16 GB RAM configuration. Check the regional SKU and its actual usable storage before buying.
Water and dust protection
Nothing rates the CMF Phone 2 Pro IP54; OnePlus lists IP65 for the N6 and also lists MIL-STD-810H certification. These ratings and certifications are not a promise that either phone is damage-proof. Consider the stated rating rather than treating either device as waterproof.

What is the price difference between the CMF Phone 2 Pro and OnePlus N6?
A current, same-market price difference cannot be established from the available figures. OnePlus’s June 30, 2026 announcement gave India launch-era original prices of ₹22,999 for 4 GB + 128 GB and ₹24,999 for 6 GB + 128 GB. It also listed effective prices of ₹20,999 and ₹22,999 respectively when an eligible ₹2,000 bank discount applied. Those are dated launch figures, not verified current prices.

The announcement’s Prime Day prices applied only July 4–6, 2026 and have expired. OnePlus said open sale would begin July 4 through OnePlus.in, its Store App, Amazon.in, Experience Stores and selected offline retailers in India; that historical channel information does not confirm current stock. The cited Nothing product page does not establish a current India price for the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Software support claims
Nothing says the CMF Phone 2 Pro will get updates for six years starting when the device first became available on nothing.tech. OnePlus lists OxygenOS 16 for the N6, but the cited sources do not establish a comparable update-support duration for it. OnePlus also advertises a “60-Month Smooth Experience,” qualifying it as fluency testing of the 6 GB N6 in OnePlus Test Lab through software, hardware and other optimizations. That is a manufacturer test claim, not a promise of five years of software updates or independent proof of long-term performance.
Who should choose each phone?
Choose the CMF Phone 2 Pro if
- You want a dedicated telephoto camera with 2× optical zoom.
- You prefer a specified AMOLED panel and want microSD storage expansion.
- You want the listed 8 GB RAM configurations and Nothing’s stated six-year update commitment tied to first availability on nothing.tech.
Consider the OnePlus N6 if
- You prioritize its substantially larger published battery capacity and 45 W charging specification.
- You value the listed IP65 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification.
- You can verify that the available local configuration, storage and current price suit your needs.
This is a manufacturer-spec comparison, not a hands-on verdict. Nothing’s product page also publishes figures such as a 711,907 AnTuTu score for the Dimensity 7300 Pro 5G and claims of improvements over CMF Phone 1; these do not compare the CMF Phone 2 Pro with the OnePlus N6, so they cannot settle which is faster.
