To close Razer Gold, first choose whether you want to remove only the Gold wallet or permanently delete the Razer ID that connects it to other Razer services. Razer says wallet-only termination is requested through Razer Gold Customer Support, can take up to five business days, and removes any remaining Razer Gold and Razer Silver balances with no option to reverse the action. Deleting the Razer ID is broader: the ID cannot be recovered and its associations with other Razer services end too.
Choose the closure that matches what you want to keep

If you want to stop using Gold but keep other Razer services tied to your ID, request wallet-only termination. If you want to remove the broader account, use Razer ID deletion instead.

Before you submit a request
- Check your remaining Gold and Silver balances. Razer says they are removed when the wallet is terminated, and that termination cannot be reversed.
- Consider other Razer services or account data you rely on before deleting the Razer ID, because the ID connects those services.
- For Razer ID deletion, make sure you can access the verified email address associated with the account; you may need the six-digit confirmation code sent there.
How to delete the Razer ID
Use this route only if you intend to delete the ID, not merely close the Gold wallet. Razer’s instructions are:
- Sign in to your Razer ID account.
- Open the ACCOUNT tab.
- Select Delete Account.
- Select DELETE ACCOUNT to confirm.
- If prompted, complete two-step authentication with the six-digit code sent to your verified email address.
Razer states that deletion is permanent and the ID cannot be recovered. Deleting it also ends the ID’s associations with Razer Gold and other Razer services. See Razer’s Razer ID deletion instructions.

How to terminate only the Razer Gold wallet
Contact Razer Gold Customer Support and clearly ask to terminate only the wallet, not the Razer ID. Razer says to allow up to five business days for this request. Any remaining Razer Gold and Razer Silver balances will be removed, and the termination cannot be reversed.
Use the Razer Gold Help Center or Razer’s contact page to reach support. Avoid unofficial services that offer to delete the account for you.

If the account option or verification does not work
If you cannot find the account deletion option or complete the email verification, contact Razer Support through its official contact page for help. Do not share your password or verification code with an unofficial account-deletion service.
