To hide obstacles and decorations in an enemy village in Clash of Clans, turn on the setting in More Settings. Supercell says the objects disappear a few seconds after an attack begins. The feature is for viewing defender villages while attacking; it does not hide objects in your own village.
Turn on the setting
- Open Clash of Clans’ settings.
- In More Settings, look for the toggle to hide obstacles and decorations in defender villages when attacking, then enable it.
Supercell’s update note confirms the menu section and what the toggle does, but does not give the exact on-screen label or spell out the taps needed to open settings. Menu wording or placement may vary in the current game interface.

When the objects disappear
After you begin an attack, obstacles and decorations in the defender’s village disappear a few seconds later. They may therefore still be visible at the start of the battle; the update note does not specify an exact delay.

What the toggle affects
This is a visual setting for defender villages during attacks. It does not remove obstacles, stash decorations, or change the layout or display of your own village. Supercell’s 6 October 2025 Clash of Clans update notes describe the feature but do not provide separate instructions for iPhone and Android.
