What the aviation features do—and what the listing does not explain
Citizen describes the watch as combining mechanical watchmaking with practical flight instrumentation, and specifies an outer slide-rule bezel. The product listing does not explain how to operate that bezel, so its name alone is not enough to confirm particular calculations or procedures. The page also does not identify a flight-use certification; Citizen’s aviation wording is product description, not evidence of such certification.
The listing includes a hacking feature, which allows the seconds hand to stop when setting the time, and a date display. It does not provide independent performance testing for these functions or the stated water resistance.

How to interpret the $895 price and availability
Citizen’s U.S. product page listed the NK0040-58L at $895 and displayed an add-to-cart option when accessed. That is a U.S. listing, not confirmation of a fixed price, current inventory, or availability in other regions; check Citizen’s page for current status.
The page labels the watch “New,” but does not give an exact public announcement date or initial regional release schedule. A separate Citizen announcement dated January 19, 2024 concerned the Promaster mechanical GMT models NB6046-59E and NB6045-51H, scheduled for release January 25, 2024.
