Will a rectangular dish fit?
The absence of a turntable means a dish is not limited by the diameter of a rotating plate. The internal cavity is listed as 354 mm wide, 230 mm high and 338 mm deep, but those dimensions do not guarantee that a particular dish will fit or heat as intended. Measure the dish at its widest points, including handles, and compare it with the cavity dimensions. Also leave enough room to place it inside and remove it without scraping the walls.
Panasonic markets the flatbed as a larger usable cooking area and says it is easier to clean. Those are manufacturer-stated design benefits, not independent test findings. The dimensions are the practical starting point for checking cookware; the nominal 27 L capacity by itself cannot tell you whether a specific rectangular container will fit.

What the inverter feature means
Panasonic says its inverter supplies graduated power sequences rather than operating only at one power level, with the aim of providing more precise power control. That describes the intended control approach; the available sources do not independently verify more even heating, better defrosting, shorter cooking times or an advantage over another microwave. The 1,000 W rating is useful for comparing listed microwave output, but wattage alone does not establish real-world results.
Cleaning and everyday care
The manual recommends switching the oven off and unplugging it before cleaning. Once the flat table has cooled, clean it with mild detergent and wipe it dry; Panasonic cautions against harsh detergent and abrasives. The manual’s instruction is to “Always clean the flat table after cooling down with a mild detergent and wipe to dry.”

A flat floor removes the glass turntable and its support ring from the cleaning routine, but spills still need prompt attention. Follow the manual’s instructions for the flat table and other surfaces rather than applying abrasive cleaners.
Countertop placement and trim-kit installation
The NN-SF574S is documented as a countertop microwave. Panasonic’s model-specific manual also identifies an Australia/New Zealand trim kit, part number NN-TK510FSQP; it does not mean the oven is a built-in model or that the kit is included.
