The vivo T5 5G pairs a larger stated battery with a bigger, faster-refreshing display. In vivo India’s store snapshot, the selected V50 configuration costs ₹42,999 for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the selected T5 configuration costs ₹34,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. That ₹8,000 difference is not an apples-to-apples price comparison.

Which phone has the better display?
The T5 5G has the larger listed panel and the higher maximum refresh rate: 6.83 inches and up to 144Hz, compared with the V50’s 6.77 inches and up to 120Hz. vivo describes the T5 display as 1.5K AMOLED. The higher refresh-rate ceiling may appeal if smooth scrolling and supported content matter to you, but the figures alone do not establish overall display quality.
How do the cameras compare?
The V50 has higher-resolution listed sensors for its ultrawide rear camera and front camera: 50MP autofocus ultrawide and 50MP selfie, versus the T5’s 8MP ultrawide and 32MP front camera. The T5’s listed 50MP main camera includes optical image stabilization (OIS); the V50 specification page lists a 50MP main camera. Sensor resolution and stabilization are hardware details, not proof of which phone takes better photos or video.

vivo lists a 7050mAh battery and 44W FlashCharge for the T5 5G. The V50 is listed with a 6000mAh typical-capacity battery and 90W FlashCharge. The T5 has the larger stated capacity, while the V50 has the higher charging wattage. Battery life and charging time depend on real-world conditions, so these specifications do not establish which lasts longer or charges faster in every use case.
Processor and intended use
The V50 uses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, while vivo lists a Dimensity 7500 Turbo for the T5 5G. Those chipset names identify different hardware, but the cited product pages do not provide directly comparable independent benchmarks. Choose based on verified reviews or testing for the apps and games you use rather than assuming a universal performance winner from the names alone.

Price difference in India
In the vivo Official E-Store snapshot, the selected V50 8GB+256GB configuration was listed at ₹42,999 and the selected T5 6GB+128GB configuration at ₹34,999. The displayed difference is ₹8,000, but the configurations also differ in RAM and storage, so it is not a like-for-like price gap. Check the live listings and compare the same or closest available memory tiers before buying: V50 store listing and T5 store listing.

- Choose the V50 if its listed 50MP ultrawide and selfie cameras or 90W charging better match your priorities, and you are considering its available configuration and price.
