Celebrity websites built with WordPress can serve very different purposes: promoting music and tours, sharing news, showcasing a personal brand, or directing fans to merchandise. A September 25, 2026, Colorlib roundup identifies 25 examples, but it is not a technical audit of every live site. WordPress.org’s own Showcase independently includes Taylor Swift, Rafael Nadal, and Usain Bolt, offering stronger corroboration for those names without verifying every site associated with them.
How to read a list of celebrity WordPress sites
A listicle is a useful place to find design inspiration, but it should not be treated as proof that every named website still runs WordPress. Colorlib’s September 25, 2026, article, “25 Celebrity Websites Built Using WordPress 2026”, attributes its examples to WordPress. A separate 2024 roundup from WP-Content also describes celebrity sites as WordPress examples, including Usain Bolt, Rafael Nadal, Katy Perry, Snoop Dogg, and the Rolling Stones (WP-Content’s list).

WordPress.org’s Showcase is a more direct source for sites it presents as built with WordPress. Its People tag includes Taylor Swift, Rafael Nadal, and Usain Bolt. That supports their inclusion in the official Showcase; it does not establish that every similarly named web property, past version, or related domain uses WordPress today.
The Showcase displayed 156 sites when accessed on October 7, 2026. That is a dated count of entries in the directory, not a measure of WordPress adoption or the number of celebrity sites using it.
What the Taylor Swift example illustrates
Colorlib attributes Taylor Swift’s site to WordPress and the Kadence theme. Its description emphasizes prominent imagery and typography, with navigation to music, videos, tour dates, and merchandise. These are Colorlib’s observations, not findings from an independent technical inspection of the site.
The example is useful as a design reference because it connects a strong visual identity to practical destinations fans may seek. A home page can establish the artist’s look, while clear navigation helps visitors move to media, event information, or a store. The same arrangement is not automatically right for every public figure: a writer may prioritize books, while a speaker or actor may need a biography and press materials.

Design choices to study in the 25 examples
Rather than treating the roundup as a ranking, compare the examples by the job each site appears designed to do. Colorlib and WP-Content describe a range of approaches, including image-led homepages, media embeds, tour and news sections, store links, and menu-based navigation. These are editorial descriptions, not measured performance results.

- Primary purpose: Is the site focused on artist updates, tour promotion, press and biography, books, merchandise, or a broader personal brand?
- Information architecture: Does it use a compact landing page, a menu-led structure, or an image grid that routes visitors into distinct topics?
- Media: How does it present photography, video, music embeds, or galleries—and do those elements support the site’s main purpose?
- Next action: Is the intended next step clear, such as signing up for updates, finding tour information, visiting a store, or discovering books?
- Maintainability: Consider whether a site team could keep news and event information current, and whether the design appears to rely on custom development.
These questions help translate visual inspiration into a brief for a site of your own. They do not establish which example is fastest, easiest to maintain, or most effective; the cited roundups do not report comparative testing for those outcomes.

What WordPress themes do—and do not—tell you
A theme shapes a WordPress site’s presentation, but it is only one part of the finished website. WordPress.org defines a theme as “a collection of files that work together to produce a graphical interface with an underlying unifying design for a website.” Its theme documentation explains how to find, preview, install, and customize themes.
Colorlib’s mention of Kadence is an attribution about the Taylor Swift example, not a guarantee that installing that theme will reproduce the site. A finished celebrity website may also use custom design or development, original photography, tailored content, and integrations for media or commerce. Choose a theme as a starting point for the structure and visual direction you need, not as a shortcut to another site’s complete result.

What you need to launch a WordPress site
WordPress.org notes that WordPress needs a web server. Its requirements page, accessed October 7, 2026, recommends PHP 8.3 or greater, MariaDB 10.11 or greater or MySQL 8.0 or greater, and HTTPS. These are WordPress.org’s current recommendations as of that date; hosting environments and software requirements can change, so check the official requirements page when choosing a setup.

Review the material relevant to your setup rather than assuming that a theme alone covers hosting, security, or ongoing updates.
