The pool is indicative, not guaranteed or held in escrow. Ranking is based on verified return on investment (ROI) during the competition period; maximum drawdown is published and used as the first tie-break.
What the $1.75 million prize pool means
Catchnex advertises a total pool of $1,750,000, split among the top three eligible traders by verified ROI. The organizer says awards are made after results are verified and explicitly states that the advertised amount is not held, guaranteed or escrowed. These are Catchnex-published contest terms, not independently verified funds already set aside. Catchnex’s competition page is the primary source for the announcement.
| Place | Advertised award |
|---|---|
| First | $1,000,000 |
| Second | $500,000 |
| Third | $250,000 |
The three awards add up to the advertised $1.75 million total. The page does not present that sum as a single winner’s prize.
Dates and how ranking works
The competition period is 1 September through 24 December 2026, closing at 23:59 UTC. Catchnex says ROI earned during that period determines rank. Its leaderboard refreshes daily at 00:05 UTC, but the displayed standings are provisional and nonbinding; they are not a final result or a guarantee of payment.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Maximum drawdown is tracked for each participant, shown alongside ROI, and used as the first tie-break. It is not described as an equal primary ranking measure: ROI decides placement, with drawdown applied first if a tie must be broken. The page does not explain the precise ROI formula or how open positions at the deadline are treated; consult the complete rules rather than assuming those details.
Entry requirements and verification

Catchnex also limits each participant to one active competition account. It says resets, multiple entries and coordinated trading between related accounts are not allowed. Winners must complete identity verification, and the company says it checks results against platform records before paying awards. The daily leaderboard alone does not establish eligibility or verify a final rank.
The official rules are identified as a 20-section document, version 27 August 2026, and Catchnex says its English version prevails over translations. Its named topics include deposits and withdrawals, open positions at close, prize handling, prohibited conduct and other operational terms. Read the current official competition page and rules before entering; the summary terms above do not settle those detailed questions.

Eligibility, jurisdiction and trading risk
Catchnex says eligibility and jurisdiction restrictions apply. Its notices say it does not offer services to U.S. or Russian residents or citizens, Costa Rican residents, or people in jurisdictions subject to applicable international sanctions or where distribution or use would violate local law or regulation. This is not a complete legal analysis: check the current rules and determine whether you are eligible where you live.
The company warns that CFDs, crypto and leveraged products carry high risk, and leverage can magnify losses as well as gains, potentially beyond the initial deposit. It also says copying a trader or strategy does not guarantee similar results and past performance does not guarantee future results. Participation is not investment advice or an inducement to increase risk.

- Open the current official competition page and read the full rules, not just the headline requirements.
- Confirm that you are eligible under the geographic, account and identity-verification terms.
- Check how the full rules address capital, deposits or withdrawals, open positions at the deadline, ROI calculation, payout timing and disputes.
- Decide whether the risk of the products and leverage involved is acceptable without raising your risk simply to pursue a prize.
A third-party announcement distributed by MarketMinute/MarketersMedia on 2 October 2026 repeats the contest terms but disclaims accuracy guarantees. Catchnex’s official page is the stronger source for what the organizer says; its listed media outlets are not endorsements. The third-party announcement should not be treated as independent confirmation that the prize pool is secured.
