Its opening-chapter demo is available, and progress can transfer to the full game—but only when you meet Konami’s platform, account, save-data, and update requirements. Here’s what to check before choosing a version.
What platforms is Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse on?
Konami lists the game for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, with a scheduled release date of October 15, 2026. These are publisher-listed platforms, not a report of independent testing. Konami’s US demo and product information specifies 60 fps for the listed versions other than Switch, which is specified at 30 fps. Konami’s EU product page gives the same frame-rate distinction.

Is it playable on Nintendo Switch 2?
Nintendo’s US store listing identifies the product as a Nintendo Switch game and says Nintendo Switch 2 compatibility is supported, with behavior consistent with Nintendo Switch. It does not list a separate native Switch 2 edition. Check the Nintendo Switch store listing for the region-specific product details.
How much storage does it need?
Storage figures differ by product and edition, so don’t treat demo capacity, full-game minimum capacity, and a platform store’s download estimate as interchangeable.
