What is the MUDMAN GDG-B100?
The GDG-B100 is a MUDMAN model in Casio’s G-SHOCK range. T3 and Tom’s Guide reported its launch features; neither source, as reflected in the available coverage, establishes independent durability testing. The word “latest” is best understood in the context of that coverage, not as a claim that it is Casio’s newest watch in every market or product family.

How rugged is its design?
T3 describes a chunky, bumper-style case with protection at the front and rear around the central case. Tom’s Guide reports carbon-fiber-reinforced resin and sealed construction, including gaskets around button shafts intended to help keep mud and dust out. These are reported design details, not independently verified impact or ingress-test results.

What does the MUDMAN GDG-B100 track?
Coverage reports that the watch measures distance, speed, pace, and estimated calories, and uses an accelerometer for step counting. Its training tools include storage for up to 100 lap times and an interval timer with up to five programmable settings, according to T3 and Tom’s Guide.
Those details describe the functions reported for this model; the available coverage does not establish the measurement accuracy or how the figures compare with a dedicated sports watch.

Does it get smartphone notifications?
Yes. According to T3 and Tom’s Guide, Bluetooth connects the GDG-B100 to the Casio Watches app, and supported phone notifications can trigger vibration alerts. Reported alert types include calls, email, social media, calendar notifications, and reminders. That notification list does not make the watch a full-featured smartwatch.

The available reports do not establish the watch’s final phone compatibility requirements or give model-specific setup instructions.

What colors and price have been reported?
Tom’s Guide reports three styles: all black; dark green with orange accents; and a sand-colored band with a black bezel. T3 and Tom’s Guide both report a UK price of £200. The reviewed coverage does not verify a US price, present-day stock, or availability in other regions, so check local Casio or retailer listings for current details.

Do not assume specifications from other G-SHOCK models apply here. Casio’s GA-B010 product page describes a different watch, while the GPR-H1000 Rangeman is another separate model; features such as solar charging, GPS, or water-resistance ratings reported for those watches cannot be attributed to the GDG-B100 on that basis. Likewise, Casio’s module 5724 phone-connection instructions are not confirmed as instructions for this MUDMAN.
