CaptureKit lists plans from a $0/month trial with 100 credits to $89/month for 50,000 credits. Each successful Screenshot API call uses one credit, so estimate the monthly plan from your number of URLs, capture frequency and likely retries. CaptureKit’s reviewed documentation describes API and automation-platform use, but does not establish a built-in recurring schedule setting or a separate CaptureKit scheduling fee.
CaptureKit plans and listed prices
CaptureKit’s billing documentation lists these monthly plans and credit allowances. The figures are from its official billing documentation checked October 3, 2026; checkout is the place to confirm the live price and selected billing cadence.

| Plan | Listed price | Credits per month | When it may fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free trial | $0/month | 100 | Evaluation or very small capture volumes, subject to current checkout terms. |
| Starter | $7/month | 1,000 | Lower-volume individual or project use. |
| Pro | $29/month | 10,000 | More frequent or larger batches; CaptureKit’s calculator selects this for its 5,000-screenshot monthly example. |
| Ultimate | $89/month | 50,000 | Higher-volume capture needs. |
CaptureKit billing documentation says quotas and rate limits are workspace-wide, so API keys in a workspace share the same pool. One-time packs can add quota without changing the subscription tier. Upgrades apply immediately with a prorated charge; downgrades take effect at the end of the period. The pricing page lists the same paid tiers and says annual billing saves 10%; verify the live amount and cadence at checkout. Country-specific taxes or payment fees are not established by these figures.
How to estimate credits for a recurring capture workflow
Use captures per period, not just the number of URLs
The Screenshot API costs one credit per call. For a simple workflow that captures every URL once on each run, estimate monthly credits as:
#1 Best Overall
- 16MP Sensor: Captures detailed photos with a CMOS sensor for everyday shooting
- Optical Zoom: 4x optical zoom with a 27mm wide angle lens for flexible framing indoors or outdoors
- Full HD Video: Records 1080p video for travel clips, family moments, or simple vlogging
- Memory Support: Works with Class 10 SD, SDHC, or SDXC cards up to 512GB
- LCD Screen and Battery: 2.7in LCD screen with 2 AA alkaline batteries for convenient on-the-go use
URLs × scheduled runs per month = estimated capture credits
For example, capturing 100 URLs once a day for a 30-day month takes 3,000 calls, or 3,000 credits before retries or any additional API calls. This is arithmetic using CaptureKit’s published per-call cost, not a usage benchmark.
Include retries and other calls
Add expected repeat attempts and any other billable endpoint calls to the estimate. The credits reference says successful synchronous requests and completed asynchronous jobs consume credits; unsuccessful requests are not charged according to CaptureKit’s pricing calculator. A workflow that retries failures may therefore use more successful calls than its initial URL count suggests.
Rank #2
- 16MP Sensor: Captures detailed photos with a CMOS sensor for everyday shooting
- Optical Zoom: 5x optical zoom with a 28mm wide angle lens for flexible framing indoors or outdoors
- Full HD Video: Records 1080p video for travel clips, family moments, or simple vlogging
- Memory Support: Works with Class 10 SD, SDHC, or SDXC cards up to 512GB
- Rechargeable Battery: Included LB-012 lithium-ion battery charges in the camera over USB with the supplied adapter in about 2 hours; charge it for at least 4 hours before first use to maximize battery life
As a separate published example, CaptureKit’s calculator shows 5,000 screenshots per month, recommends Pro at $29/month with 10,000 credits, and displays a calculated $5.80 per 1,000 screenshots. That is the calculator’s example, not a guaranteed effective rate for every workflow; actual use depends on successful calls and the plan selected.
Does CaptureKit include a built-in screenshot schedule?
CaptureKit describes its Screenshot API as an HTTP API called from a customer backend, an automation platform or an AI agent. Its pricing page lists Zapier and Make integrations. The reviewed Screenshot API reference documents capture parameters, but does not establish a recurring cron or schedule setting, nor a separate CaptureKit scheduling charge.
For recurring screenshots, plan on arranging repeated API calls through your own scheduler or an integration, and check whether that scheduler or integration charges separately. Do not treat the CaptureKit API subscription price alone as a confirmed all-in price for the entire automation workflow.

Choosing a plan for daily screenshots
- Count the distinct URLs the workflow captures.
- Multiply by captures per URL per run and the number of scheduled runs in the billing period.
- Add expected successful retries and other calls that use credits.
- Compare the resulting monthly estimate with the plan allowances: 100, 1,000, 10,000 or 50,000 credits.
- Check workspace-wide usage, the automation provider’s charges, billing cadence and current checkout price before committing.
For instance, 100 pages captured daily over a 30-day month produce 3,000 baseline calls. That exceeds Starter’s listed 1,000-credit allowance; Pro’s listed 10,000-credit allowance would cover that baseline, leaving room for other workspace use and retries. Allowance fit is not a guarantee of workflow cost, since external automation charges and other workspace calls are separate considerations.
Or skip the browser setup
If you need a screenshot API rather than building a browser-based capture workflow, ScreenshotNeo is an alternative to try first: it removes cookie banners, newsletter popups and chat widgets before capture, and only clean shots are billed. Bot checks, blank pages, failed loads and cache hits cost nothing, with the outcome identified in response headers. It also provides an MCP server for AI agents and includes 1,000 screenshots per month free with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000.
One GET request returns an image or PDF; the example below saves a WebP screenshot. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options.
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
