A limited-edition DualSense works with supported Windows PCs and Android and iOS devices just like other DualSense wireless controllers. You can connect it with Bluetooth or a USB Type-C cable, but compatibility depends on the device’s operating system and whether the game or app supports a controller. Some advanced features are unavailable on mobile or vary by platform and connection.
Supported devices and operating systems
Sony’s compatibility guidance covers DualSense controllers generally, and its product range includes limited editions; it does not identify special compatibility rules for limited-edition finishes. Sony lists these operating-system baselines for connecting a controller by Bluetooth or USB:

| Device | Sony-listed minimum |
|---|---|
| Windows PC | Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11 |
| Android device | Android 12 |
| iPhone | iOS 14.5 |
| Mac | macOS Big Sur 11.3 |
| iPad | iPadOS 14.5 |
| Apple TV | tvOS 14.5 |
These are the baselines in Sony’s compatibility table, not a promise that every game or app on a supported device will recognize the controller. Sony’s DualSense product page describes PC and mobile use as part of the controller range.
Choose Bluetooth or USB Type-C
Bluetooth avoids a cable, while USB Type-C gives you a wired connection. Sony documents both options but does not say one is best for every device or game. A new host device must be paired before wireless use.
#1 Best Overall
- Featuring a golden sheen and radiant barrel design framing Bond’s iconic codename and weapon
- This limited-edition controller is well suited for a fresh agent looking to make a name for themselves.
- Feel the confident squeeze of a trigger or the flick of a sophisticated trick lighter with premium precision through dynamic adaptive triggers.
- Experience Bond’s suave maneuvers as he stealthily infiltrates exotic locales that span the globe. Conversely, revel in the chaos when gunfire rattles, explosions bloom, and seemingly nothing goes to plan.
Pair over Bluetooth
- Disconnect any USB cable and make sure the controller is off.
- Hold the Create button and the PS button together until the light bar blinks.
- Open Bluetooth settings on the PC or mobile device, then select the controller from the available-device list.
Connect by cable
Connect the controller to the supported device with a USB Type-C cable. If a cable is not included with your controller or is unsuitable for your setup, use a compatible one.
What works—and what does not—on each platform
Connecting successfully does not mean every DualSense feature is available. Sony says feature support depends on the host device and the game.

- Haptic feedback: Not compatible with Mac computers or mobile devices. On PC, Sony says a USB connection is required.
- Built-in microphone and speaker: Available on Windows PC when the game supports them; not compatible with Mac or mobile devices.
Check game support on PC
A working Bluetooth or USB connection does not guarantee that a particular PC game supports the controller. Sony recommends checking the game’s Steam store page, where controller compatibility is labelled Full Controller Support or Partial Controller Support. See Sony’s PC gaming support guidance for its game-support caveat.

Using DualSense with Remote Play
You can also use a DualSense controller with PS Remote Play to control games streamed from a PS5 or PS4 to a supported device. This is a streaming setup, not the same as a game running locally on the PC or phone, and it requires a supported device and the Remote Play app. Sony describes this use in its controller setup guidance.
