A person without Prime can still purchase products on Amazon, but that does not grant access to the member-only event prices. A trial or discounted plan may make the membership cost lower, but it does not automatically make a purchase cheaper. Compare the membership charge you would actually incur with the discount on the items you already intend to buy, and account for any delivery costs that apply to your order. The published membership rates are not a guarantee that subscribing for a particular event will save you money.
