First, search the Settings app for Users. If the controls appear, you can add a user or guest profile there; if they do not, there is no universal Samsung setting or verified workaround that restores the feature on every Galaxy device. Android lets manufacturers decide whether to expose multi-user controls, and Samsung’s documented user-management steps are for Galaxy tablets—not a guarantee of support on Galaxy phones.
Check whether your Galaxy still has user controls

Open Settings and use its search function to look for Users. This is often quicker than following an old menu path, since labels and locations can vary.

If search does not find the option, check the general Android route: Settings > System > Multiple users. Google notes that menu wording can differ. If neither an add-user nor guest option is available, the device cannot add users through those settings. Google’s Android Help

Before looking for model-specific instructions, note the exact Galaxy model, software version, and country or region where it was sold. Samsung warns that settings and menu sequences can vary by product and location. Samsung’s regional support guidance

Why the option may be missing
Android supports user and guest profiles at the platform level, but that does not mean every Android device exposes them. The Android Open Source Project says, “The multi-user feature is disabled by default,” and explains that device manufacturers enable it through device configuration. The statement concerns the platform’s default and OEM configuration; it does not mean every Android device lacks multi-user support. Android Open Source Project: Support multiple users
Accordingly, a missing Users menu is not proof that a previously available setting was merely moved. The cited official documentation does not establish a universal procedure for restoring multi-user support on Samsung phones, or a reliable ADB command that enables a missing interface.

If you have a Galaxy tablet with Users controls
Samsung provides instructions for adding, restricting, removing, and switching users on Galaxy tablets. These steps apply when the tablet exposes the relevant controls; they should not be assumed to work on every Galaxy model.

Open the tablet’s user-management controls and follow Samsung’s on-screen steps to add a user. Samsung notes that you may need to set a screen lock on the administrator account first.

To switch profiles, use the User profile option in Quick Settings. Samsung also describes restarting the tablet as a way to return to the Administrator profile.

For the precise current menu sequence, consult Samsung’s Galaxy tablet user-management instructions, since menu names and steps can vary.

Choose a secondary user or a guest
If your device offers both options, choose based on how long the other person needs access. Google describes a secondary user as suitable for someone who uses the device regularly. A guest profile is intended for temporary use and is easier to delete afterward. Each profile has its own space for accounts, apps, settings, and home screens. Google’s profile guidance

Multi-user profiles are different from app accounts
Adding another account inside an app does not create a separate Android user. An Android user profile provides a distinct space for accounts, apps, settings, and a home screen; an account added within an app is limited to that app’s own account features.

What to do if the setting is still absent

Confirm the exact model and software version, then check support information for that specific device and region.

If it is a Galaxy tablet, compare its available controls with Samsung’s tablet-specific instructions.

If no Users controls are available, the official sources cited here do not establish a supported way to restore them on that device. Avoid treating an unverified workaround as a dependable fix.
