Can you respec enchantments or weapons?
The sequel’s enchantment system gives you choices, but the official description does not say whether an enchantment already applied to gear can be removed, refunded, or moved to another item. Minecraft says players find Enchant Books, add them to a personal enchantment library, and use the Enchantsmith to apply an effect to a gear slot. Enchantments can also be upgraded and leveled over time. That describes how to choose and improve enchantments, not how to undo an existing choice. Do not confuse a buff reroll with an enchantment respec. They are described as separate systems, and the official material does not say that rerolling refunds or changes applied enchantments.
What can you change on equipment you want to keep?
Xbox Wire’s Gamescom preview documents two Blacksmith services for owned equipment: upgrading it to the highest power level currently available and rerolling an item’s existing buff to get a new one. More build choices do not confirm a refund system
Minecraft describes a larger combat setup, expanding the number of combat slots from six to twelve. Armor is divided into helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots, and talismans add passive bonuses. These systems offer more ways to shape a build, but do not establish a weapon-salvage or enchantment-refund feature.
Design director Laura De Llorens described the sequel’s direction in an official Xbox podcast interview: “There’s a whole new item array and new gear systems to level up and make combat even more yours and your style.” The statement speaks to customization broadly; it is not confirmation of a respec or salvage mechanic.
