If you missed an NYT Wordle puzzle, there is no documented self-service way to restore that day to your streak. Playing the puzzle later from the archive is not shown to repair daily streak statistics. If you completed the daily puzzle but your streak still broke, check your account and sync status, then consult NYT Games support; a restoration is not guaranteed.
Can you get a Wordle streak back after missing a day?
Official NYT Games information reviewed does not describe a way to undo an ordinary missed day or manually add its result to your streak. It also does not establish whether support will restore a streak lost because of a technical or account problem. Treat those as separate cases: one is a puzzle you did not play, the other is a result that may not have been recorded.

Will playing an archived puzzle restore the streak?
No official source reviewed says that it will. The NYT Games Google Play listing describes Wordle, statistics and access to an archive, but does not say that archive play fills in a missed daily result. The NYT Games Apple App Store listing also describes Wordle stats and subscriber access to past puzzles without identifying archive play as a streak-repair feature.

What to do if you played but your streak disappeared
- Check the account you used. Confirm that Wordle is open under the account where you normally see your statistics. A different account or session may not show the same record.
- Check whether the result registered. Revisit your Wordle statistics and confirm whether the completed game is reflected there. Avoid assuming a later archive play will recreate the daily result.
- Contact official support for current guidance. The NYT Games Help Center’s Games app page is an official starting point for app support, but it does not set out a Wordle-specific streak recovery policy. Ask support about your account or sync issue; the available guidance does not guarantee that a streak can be restored.
Does paying for Wordle bring back a missed streak?
The listings describe subscriber access to the puzzle archive, not a paid streak-repair feature. They do not say that a subscription restores missed days or is required to retain Wordle statistics. Paying for archive access therefore is not an established way to recover a streak.
