No—not under Blizzard’s currently reported plans. A TechRadar Gaming report published October 11, 2026, says Blizzard has no plans at this time to add races from WoW expansions, and it specifically names Goblins and Vulpera as races players should not expect in World of Warcraft: Forever.
Are Goblins or Vulpera playable in WoW: Forever?
Based on Blizzard’s reported position, neither Goblins nor Vulpera is planned as a playable race in WoW: Forever. The report quotes Blizzard saying, “We have no plans to add races from WoW’s expansions at this time.” It explicitly identifies Goblins and Vulpera as examples of expansion-era races players should not expect under that plan. TechRadar Gaming published the report on October 11, 2026.

Why is WoW: Forever not adding those races?
Blizzard described WoW: Forever as a distinct continuity focused on the foundational lore of Warcraft rather than revisiting stories and additions developed extensively in modern World of Warcraft. As quoted in the report, Blizzard said, “Our main focus for the game is to build off the foundational lore of Warcraft.” The report identifies the Warcraft real-time strategy games as that foundational reference point.

That creative direction explains why the reported plan excludes races introduced through later WoW expansions. It does not mean Goblins or Vulpera are unavailable across every version of World of Warcraft; the answer here is specifically about WoW: Forever.
What playable race does the official page list?
Blizzard’s official World of Warcraft: Forever page lists Skyborne as a new playable race. The page’s product information says access to the Skyborne race or its starting experience requires the Skyborne Heroic Pack or a higher edition. Edition contents and availability can change, so consult the live product page for the current access terms.

What to check if you are deciding about a later release
For Goblins and Vulpera, look for a newer Blizzard announcement before treating the October 11, 2026 report as current beyond its publication date. Until Blizzard changes or clarifies its position, the supported answer is that neither race is planned for WoW: Forever at this time.
