No. Games claimed as PlayStation Plus Monthly Games are playable only while your membership is active. When the paid period ends, access is suspended; it can return if you subscribe again. Canceling renewal alone does not end access immediately: benefits continue until the prepaid period runs out.

Does canceling PlayStation Plus remove access right away?
No. Turning off automatic renewal stops the next charge; it does not immediately terminate a paid membership period. PlayStation says benefits continue through the prepaid period and end when the subscription ends. DLC and add-ons for catalog games

How to check why a specific game is unavailable
- Identify how you got it. Was it claimed as a Monthly Game, downloaded from a catalog, or purchased from the Store? A Plus-discounted purchase is a purchase, not a Monthly Game claim.
- Check whether the paid period ended. If you only canceled renewal, benefits should continue until the end of the prepaid membership period.
- For a catalog download, check the tier and title listing. Extra and Premium include the Game Catalog; Premium includes the Classics Catalog. Confirm the game is still offered, since titles can leave.
- Check whether the issue is with the base game or an add-on. Catalog DLC follows the access status of the game it belongs to.
Why the answer can vary by country
