Windows audio checks may help identify why SUPER PEOPLE has no sound or microphone input, but they cannot restore the game’s official online service: its operator announced that the Early Access service and servers would shut down on February 23, 2026, a date that has passed. If you are troubleshooting a local audio problem, first determine whether the issue affects only the game, all sound, or microphone input.

First, know what a Windows fix can—and cannot—do

The SUPER PEOPLE operations team announced that “SUPER PEOPLE Early Access service will officially end on February 23, 2026 (Monday).” The service and servers have since ended, so changing Windows audio settings cannot make the official online game playable again. For local diagnosis, the steps below are general Windows troubleshooting—not fixes verified specifically for SUPER PEOPLE. Steam lists the game’s technical information for 64-bit Windows 10 and DirectX 11; that listing does not establish a Windows 11 audio fix. Steam’s SUPER PEOPLE page.

If Windows sounds work but the game is silent

When other apps play audio normally, check the game’s app-specific volume and output routing first. Windows can send an individual app to a different device from the system default.

If no apps produce sound

If system sounds and other apps are also silent, troubleshoot Windows output rather than the game alone. On Windows 11, start with the audio troubleshooter in the Get Help app, then verify that Windows has selected the intended output device.
