Paddle supports UPI for eligible India-based checkouts priced in Indian rupees. ScreenshotOne says Paddle handles subscriptions, but its published plans are in US dollars and its public pricing page does not confirm that Indian customers are offered UPI. Check the live checkout and its final total before choosing a paid plan.
What determines whether UPI works?
Three details have to line up: the seller must use a checkout configured to offer UPI, the item must qualify under that processor’s rules, and UPI must appear in the checkout presented to you. Paddle’s documentation says it presents UPI only for items priced in INR when the customer address is in India. A vendor’s use of Paddle by itself does not establish either condition.

Paddle announced UPI support for one-time and subscription payments in India on June 17, 2026. Its documentation describes recurring payments using UPI Autopay. These are processor capabilities, not confirmation of the payment methods available for a particular vendor, plan, or buyer.

ScreenshotOne requires an access key for API requests; it is a hosted service, not a physical product. Its listed USD prices are not an India checkout quote. Urlbox’s use of Stripe likewise does not establish whether it will accept a particular Indian card or offer UPI to a particular customer.

Paddle UPI limits to check
- Paddle’s documentation gives a maximum UPI transaction amount of ₹100,000.
- For a checkout containing a recurring item, Paddle says UPI will not appear if the checkout total is over ₹15,000.
- Whether a specific vendor’s item qualifies depends on its live checkout configuration, including currency and the customer address.
These limits are from Paddle’s documentation checked in 2026; confirm the current rules and the options shown in the actual checkout before relying on them.
How to check before paying
- Choose the plan or trial and proceed to that provider’s official checkout while signed in with your Indian billing address.
- Inspect the displayed payment methods. If UPI is not explicitly offered, do not assume the processor’s general UPI support makes it available for that purchase.
- Check the checkout currency and the complete payable total, including any taxes or conversion displayed there. The published USD plan price is not necessarily the final amount charged in INR.
- For a card payment, confirm with your bank or issuer that the card permits the transaction. The reviewed vendor pages do not establish acceptance for an individual Indian card.
- Save the checkout confirmation and plan terms, especially for recurring payments, and verify the billing method and renewal details before completing the purchase.
Try the free options before committing
If the checkout method is uncertain, use an available no-card allowance or trial to evaluate whether the API fits your workload before buying. ScreenshotOne lists 100 screenshots per month free without a card; Urlbox advertises a seven-day trial without requiring a card. Check each service’s current terms at signup.

Common payment snags
- UPI is missing from checkout: The item may not be priced in INR, the billing address may not be recognized as India, or the seller’s checkout may not offer UPI for that plan. Confirm the address and currency; if UPI still is not listed, choose a displayed method or ask the vendor.
- The total differs from the plan page: The public plan price may exclude taxes or may not be the checkout currency. Use the final displayed total; the reviewed pages do not establish an individual buyer’s conversion or tax charges.
- A card is declined: Contact the card issuer about the specific transaction. Stripe’s India merchant processing rates describe what merchants pay to process domestic and foreign-issued cards; they do not establish that Urlbox accepts your card.
- A recurring UPI option is unavailable: Check Paddle’s stated ₹15,000 checkout-total threshold for recurring items and verify current terms in its documentation.
