Yes—but it depends on what you mean by “loop.” To repeat a video while watching it, use YouTube’s built-in Loop or Repeat control; you do not need Gyre. To broadcast prerecorded material continuously as a public YouTube live stream, Gyre offers a separate cloud-based creator workflow that requires uploading video files to Gyre.
Repeat a video while watching it
YouTube’s native controls repeat the selected video continuously. The steps depend on your device, and labels may vary as YouTube updates its apps.

- Desktop: Open the video, right-click inside the player, and select Loop.
- iPhone or iPad: Open Settings, choose Additional settings, then turn on Loop video.
- TV or game console: While the video is playing, open the controls and select Repeat until the control indicates Currently playing.
YouTube describes the result this way: “The video will repeat continuously.” (YouTube Help)
What Gyre does—and what it does not do
Gyre is for creators who want prerecorded video files to play as a continuous public live broadcast, rather than for viewers who simply want to repeat a video on its watch page. Gyre describes this as a cloud service, so the creator’s computer does not have to stay on; that is the vendor’s description, not an independent test of uninterrupted performance. (Gyre’s overview)

Gyre’s help documentation says source videos must be uploaded to Gyre storage to create a stream, including videos that were previously uploaded to a YouTube channel. This is a distinct setup from turning on YouTube’s playback loop. (Gyre Help Center)

For a website embed, looping is a separate setup
Developers embedding YouTube videos can use the documented player loop parameter or API setting. The API reference describes looping in terms of continuously playing a playlist; for a single-video embed, configure the documented playlist setup as well as looping.
