Microsoft has not confirmed in its current Edge shopping support documentation that the feature is still active, nor does it publish a complete carrier or retailer list. So Bing cannot be assumed to track every package you order.
What Microsoft announced
Microsoft called the feature “Package Tracking.” The June 29, 2023 announcement said it could keep tabs on a purchase from the Edge sidebar, without requiring you to search your inbox for shipping confirmations and tracking numbers. Microsoft pointed users to Microsoft Shopping on Bing and Edge, and described availability as limited to select markets. Microsoft’s announcement is historical evidence of the feature, not confirmation that it remains available today.

The announcement does not name every supported carrier or retailer. It therefore does not establish that Package Tracking can find or follow all orders, or that it works for every shipment.
Is package tracking still available in Edge?
Microsoft’s later Edge shopping support page describes shopping tools—including price history, price tracking, comparisons, reviews, and cashback—moving into the Copilot sidebar. It does not say whether the separate 2023 Package Tracking feature is still available or where to find it in current Edge builds.

Microsoft’s general guidance for Edge shopping features says to keep Edge updated, sign in with a Microsoft account, and make sure the relevant shopping setting is enabled. Those steps do not guarantee access to Package Tracking. Microsoft also notes that shopping features can be limited by region and rolled out gradually. For details on connected features and settings, see Manage Connected Experiences in Microsoft Edge.
What to do if you cannot find Package Tracking
- Update Edge and check Microsoft’s current support pages for available shopping features.
- If you use Edge shopping features, sign in with your Microsoft account and check the relevant setting; availability can still depend on your region and rollout.
- For a shipment that needs tracking now, use the tracking link or tracking number from the retailer or carrier. Microsoft’s available documentation does not establish a universal Bing workflow for package tracking.
Package tracking is not price tracking
Package Tracking referred to following a purchase after ordering. Edge’s documented price-tracking tools are shopping features for monitoring product prices; their presence does not confirm that shipment tracking is available in the same sidebar.
