Steam also notes that CPU performance matters for the game’s physics combat and calculations. If a PC falls below one of the published minimums, it does not meet the listing’s stated minimum specification; the page does not promise how such a system will perform.
How to tell whether your setup is compatible
- Confirm the edition. These requirements apply to Arken Age on Steam, not automatically to any separate edition that may exist elsewhere.
- Check the computer. Verify that it runs 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 and compare its processor, RAM, graphics card and VRAM, DirectX support, and free storage with the minimum column.
- Check the PC-to-headset connection. The Steam listing says OpenXR and SteamVR launch options support all headsets, but it does not provide a model-by-model compatibility list. Confirm that your headset works with OpenXR or SteamVR on your PC.
A headset being described as supported does not remove the PC requirement. The PC runs the Steam game; the headset is used as the display and VR interface.
