No—not while it is being broadcast live. YouTube excludes live streams from Super Thanks while they are live, even when the video playing in the stream was recorded earlier. Once the broadcast ends, its archived long-form replay may be eligible for Super Thanks if the channel and video meet YouTube’s requirements.

What to check if you want Super Thanks on the replay
Both channel-level access and the individual video’s status matter. Before expecting the thanks button to appear on an archived stream, check the following:

- Channel access: The channel must meet YouTube’s fan-funding requirements, be in a supported location, accept and comply with the relevant terms, and have access to the feature. In YouTube Studio, check the Earn area for the Supers tab. Its availability depends on channel access.
- Super Thanks setting: Confirm that Super Thanks is enabled in YouTube Studio. YouTube’s setup guidance is in Turn on and manage Super Thanks.
- Replay visibility and status: Check that the archived video is not private or unlisted, and that it is a long-form video rather than the live broadcast still in progress.
- Audience and restrictions: YouTube lists made-for-kids and age-restricted videos among the exclusions.
- Claims and other conditions: Videos with copyright claims, fundraiser links, or comments disabled are among the listed exclusions.
These checks do not guarantee eligibility; YouTube’s current requirements and the channel’s feature access determine whether Super Thanks is available. Review the eligibility and availability rules and YouTube Commerce Products monetization policies.

How to accept support during the live stream
For the active broadcast, check whether the channel can use Super Chat and Super Stickers. YouTube identifies these as live-stream and Premiere features, but they have their own channel, location, and content requirements; a live broadcast does not make them available automatically. Start with YouTube Help’s Super Chat & Super Stickers eligibility, availability, and policies, then check the channel’s Supers options in YouTube Studio.
