The right Cal.com alternative depends on what you schedule: Calendly is a familiar general-purpose benchmark, SavvyCal stands out for letting invitees compare calendars, Acuity is built around paid appointments, and Google Calendar or Microsoft Bookings may cover basic needs if you already use those suites. Compare the feature tier and the way it charges—not just the advertised starting price.
How to choose a Cal.com alternative
Start with the booking workflow, then check what the plan you need costs for your actual setup. A solo professional booking one-to-one calls has different requirements from a sales team routing leads or a salon managing several calendars and payments.

- Workflow: Decide whether you need one-to-one bookings, round-robin or collective team scheduling, group polls, or appointment-led services.
- Buyer and scale: Count team seats, bookable calendars, booking volume, or accounts as applicable. Pricing models are not directly comparable.
- Required features: Check event types, booking pages, calendar connections, payments, reminders, branding, routing, and CRM synchronization against your needs.
- Operational fit: Confirm calendar and video integrations, security review requirements, and any contractual compliance commitments with the provider before adopting a service.

Verify decision-critical requirements before switching
Plan descriptions alone may not settle whether a scheduler is suitable for your organization. Before committing, confirm that the current plan supports your calendar and video providers, required CRM and payment connections, and the number of users or calendars you need. If security review or a contractual compliance commitment is mandatory, ask the provider to confirm it for the specific product and plan rather than inferring it from a feature list.
Pricing, plan limits, bundled eligibility, and available features can change. The figures above are attributed to the cited 2026 comparisons; check the providers’ current plan pages before purchase.
