The Caffitaly System S21 is a capsule machine built for Caffitaly System capsules—not a general-purpose pod brewer. Its 2015 instruction manual describes lever-operated capsule loading and programmed drink buttons, but the available evidence does not include a hands-on or independent comparative test. The key buying question is therefore whether Caffitaly System capsules are easy to find where you live.
What the Caffitaly S21 offers
The S21 manual describes a straightforward capsule-brewing process: fill the water tank, switch on the machine, wait for the ready indicators, load a capsule through the lever-operated chamber, then select a beverage button. The selected button blinks during dispensing, and the machine stops at its programmed quantity. Raising the lever ejects the used capsule. The manual lists a 1.2-litre water tank and maximum pressure of 15 bar. Those are manufacturer-specified technical figures, not independent measurements or a guarantee of beverage quality.
Which capsules fit the Caffitaly S21?
The S21 manual says, “ONLY USE WITH Caffitaly System Capsules.” Caffitaly’s FAQ likewise says capsules bearing its logo are compatible exclusively with machines marked Caffitaly System. Check both the wording on the capsule packaging and the mark on the machine before buying; the Professional/Coffee for You line is described as distinct from the System line. Do not assume Nespresso or Dolce Gusto capsules fit. Caffitaly’s FAQ identifies those as third-party brands with no connection to Caffitaly, rather than compatible capsule formats. For ownership, this closed-system commitment matters more than a broad claim about pod convenience: confirm that the System capsules you want are sold reliably in your region before choosing the machine.
Caffitaly publishes a figure of 8 g of ground coffee per System capsule; the page does not state a publication year. The company also describes upper and lower filters as part of the capsule design. How it works in everyday use
According to the manual, the S21 uses beverage buttons with programmed quantities. That suggests simple button-led operation, but the manual does not establish how much adjustment users have over cup size beyond those programmed quantities. Check the manual for the exact instructions for your machine and market rather than assuming the settings can be customized.
Because no independent comparative test or hands-on use is established here, there is no basis to rate the S21’s taste, brewing speed, noise, reliability, or value against other machines. Buyers comparing capsule brewers should focus on local capsule availability and cost, drink controls, milk preparation, cleaning requirements, and local warranty and service.

Cleaning and descaling
The S21 manual includes sections on daily maintenance and descaling. Follow the instructions in the manual for your machine; no specific currently approved descaler or formulation is established here. If the manual is unavailable or unclear, ask Caffitaly or the local seller before using a chemical descaler, since a generic product recommendation is not supported.
Milk drinks and the separate frother
The manual mentions a separate Caffitaly System Milk Frother for heating and texturing milk. It is an optional accessory, not an integrated milk system, and the manual does not establish whether that accessory is currently sold or which current model is appropriate. Verify present availability and compatibility locally if milk drinks are important to you.

Warranty and buying considerations
Warranty terms depend on the market and seller. Caffitaly’s official shop FAQ states a two-year warranty for machines purchased from that shop, while a Lebanon-market FAQ result stated one year.
