What is Buttons Up! Idle Clicker Game?
The game’s central loop is straightforward: collect buttons, spend them on buildings and skills that improve collection, and build up income over time. Its idle mechanics let Collectors handle some of the work, while gnomes add an interruption to the accumulation loop: they try to steal buttons, so players must fend them off.

How does collecting and automation work?
- Tap to collect: Clicking or tapping is the basic way to gather buttons.
- Buy improvements: Buildings and skills are intended to increase collection efficiency.
- Automate income: Hire Collectors so button production is not limited to manual tapping.
- Manage interruptions: Gnomes can steal buttons, giving you a reason to react instead of leaving the stash entirely unattended.
Google Play also lists achievements and offline earnings among the game’s features. The store listing does not specify how offline earnings are calculated or capped, so those details should not be assumed.

Is Buttons Up! free to play, and where can you get it?
Apple lists Pepperbox Studios’ game as a free iOS app with in-app purchases. Google Play describes it as free to play for Android. These labels establish the download and play framing, not that every feature or purchase is free. Check the live listing for current availability and any purchase details:
What is King’s Button?
Both mobile store listings describe a second world called King’s Button. That establishes it as additional content in the mobile game, but the available descriptions do not explain how to unlock it or detail its mechanics.

Is this the same Buttons Up! game on Steam?
No. The title can refer to two distinct games. The mobile game covered here is by Pepperbox Studios and is distributed through Apple’s App Store and Google Play. A separate Steam game called Buttons Up! is by Jestercraft. Steam’s release, updates and product information apply to that PC game, not to the Pepperbox mobile app.
