For a budget 1440p monitor, start with the exact local price and the features you will use—not a universal “best” ranking. The five 27-inch QHD candidates below cover high-refresh gaming, a curved screen, extra connectivity and everyday desktop use, but the available evidence does not establish comparable current prices or stock. This guide is therefore a shortlist, not a claim that any one model is the cheapest today.

Set a ceiling in your local currency, then check same-day listings for the exact regional model, including shipping, returns and warranty. If you are shopping in India around ₹20,000, treat that as your own market-specific budget, not a price verified for these models. The question is familiar to Indian PC buyers, but model suffixes and availability vary by country.

What 1440p means at 27 inches

In this guide, 1440p means QHD resolution: 2560 × 1440 pixels. The five candidates are 27-inch displays, a size at which QHD provides a sharper desktop image than Full HD at the same screen size. Retail listings sometimes use “2K” loosely, so check the actual resolution in the exact SKU specifications before buying.

Resolution is only one part of the choice. A high refresh rate can make motion look smoother when your computer can deliver enough frames; ports and stand adjustments may matter more for an everyday desk setup. A monitor’s maximum refresh figure also depends on the input used.

#1 Best Overall
Acer Nitro 27in QHD 2560x1440 IPS 180Hz Gaming Monitor KG271U N3bmiipx
  • Quality Visuals: The KG271U 27" IPS monitor with 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution in a 16:9 aspect ratio presents stunning, high-quality images with excellent detail. The zero-frame design does away with the thick frames found on conventional monitors freeing up precious screen space.
  • AMD FreeSync Technology: Say “goodbye” to stuttering and tearing. With AMD FreeSync, the monitor’s frames are synced with the graphics card’s frames, which eliminates screen tearing and provide the smoothest gaming experience.
  • Up to 180Hz: The 180Hz refresh rate speeds up the frames per second to deliver an ultra-smooth 2D motion scene. With a rapid refresh rate of up to 180Hz, Acer Gaming Monitors shorten the time it takes for frame rendering, lower input lag and provide gamers an excellent in-game experience.
  • Responsive!!: Up to 0.5ms GTG (Gray to Gray) response time enhanced gamers’ in-game experience. No matter the fast-moving action or any dramatic transitions will be all rendered smoothly without the annoying effects of smearing or ghosting with KG271U Gaming Monitor.
  • New Depths of Color Accuracy: is monitor is ideal for color-critical projects producing accurate colors, supporting DCI-P3 95%. An amazing monitor for graphic designers, photographers, and film editors.

Five budget-minded 27-inch QHD candidates

These are options to compare, not a ranked price list. Their local prices, stock and warranty terms must be checked at purchase time.

KTC H27T22C-3 High-refresh gaming on a tight budget PC Gamer lists a 27-inch IPS panel, 2560 × 1440 resolution and 210 Hz. It identifies FreeSync and G-SYNC compatibility. PC Gamer’s 2026 gaming-monitor guide PC Gamer notes limited HDR, a tilt-only stand and no USB ports. Check the precise local SKU and the refresh rate supported by your chosen input.
Acer Nitro KGB271U All-round IPS gaming, if the local price works TechRadar reported a 27-inch IPS, 2560 × 1440 display with up to 200 Hz over DisplayPort and 144 Hz over HDMI, FreeSync Premium, HDR10, 350 cd/m² brightness and VESA mounting. TechRadar Pro’s June 17, 2026 report The report’s U.S. promotional price was $159.99 in June 2026; it is historical, not a current-price quote. TechRadar describes the HDR as basic and says the monitor lacks local dimming.
AOC AGON AG275QX/EU Gaming plus USB connectivity AOC specifies a 27-inch QHD IPS panel, 170 Hz, 1 ms GtG, FreeSync Premium, G-SYNC Compatible, four downstream USB ports and DisplayHDR 400. AOC’s AG275QX product page The cited page is for the AG275QX/EU and warns that it may not be available in the United States. Verify your country’s availability and the exact suffix before comparing offers.
ASUS TUF Gaming VG27WQ Buyers who specifically want a curved screen ASUS lists a 27-inch curved QHD panel with 1500R curvature, 165 Hz, 1 ms MPRT and DisplayHDR 400. ASUS product specifications Its budget fit is not established here. Confirm local price and availability rather than assuming that the feature set makes it a budget pick.
ViewSonic VS2725-2K Everyday desktop use where 100 Hz is enough DisplayNinja lists a 27-inch VA 1440p display with 100 Hz and FreeSync. DisplayNinja’s 2026 1440p monitor guide A current price is not established in the cited guide. Compare it with faster alternatives using live local offers.

Which one should you choose?

For gaming at the lowest practical cost

Begin by checking the KTC H27T22C-3 against local listings. Its 210 Hz specification is the highest among the candidates here, but the stand adjusts only for tilt, it has no USB ports, and PC Gamer flags limited HDR. Pick it only if the exact model is available at a price that fits your ceiling and those omissions do not matter to your setup.

For a flexible gaming monitor

Compare the Acer Nitro KGB271U and AOC AGON AG275QX/EU if you want a high-refresh IPS option. The Acer’s reported maximum differs by connection—200 Hz over DisplayPort and 144 Hz over HDMI—so confirm the port and cable arrangement you will use. The AOC brings four downstream USB ports, but its regional suffix and possible U.S. unavailability make local SKU verification essential. Neither cited source establishes today’s local price.

For a curved display

The ASUS TUF Gaming VG27WQ is the clearly documented curved option in this group, with 1500R curvature. Its 165 Hz and DisplayHDR 400 labels may suit a gaming-focused setup, but they do not prove that it is affordable in your market. Compare its current price and the exact regional model with flat-screen alternatives.

For general desktop work

The ViewSonic VS2725-2K is a sensible candidate if 100 Hz is sufficient and your priority is a QHD desktop display rather than the highest refresh figure. The cited source does not establish its current price, so use it as a comparator rather than presuming it costs less.

Check the details that change the real value

Price, region and exact model

Compare offers in one market and currency, and include shipping, return terms and warranty in the total. A past deal is not a live offer: TechRadar’s $159.99 U.S. price for the Acer was reported on June 17, 2026. Check stock and price on the day you buy. Confirm the full model name and suffix; similar names can identify different regional products or variants.

Rank #4
AOC 27" Gaming Monitor QHD 260Hz Overclocked IPS NVIDIA G-SYNC Q27G41ZE | 2560×1440 Computer Monitor, 240Hz Native / 260Hz OC, NVIDA G-SYNC Compatible, 0.3ms, HDR, VESA, Audio Out, 3-Yr Warranty
  • 27” QHD IPS DISPLAY: Enjoy stunning detail and vibrant color with a 2560x1440 Quad HD resolution on a 27-inch IPS panel, offering wide viewing angles and precise image quality.
  • 240HZ REFRESH RATE & 0.3MS RESPONSE TIME: Take competitive gaming to the next level with a blazing-fast 240Hz refresh rate (via DisplayPort) and ultra-responsive 0.3ms MPRT for minimal blur and maximum clarity.
  • ADAPTIVE-SYNC SUPPORT: Say goodbye to screen tearing and input lag with Adaptive-Sync for fluid, uninterrupted performance across both AMD and NVIDIA GPUs.
  • TILT ADJUSTMENT: Customize your setup with -3° to +21° tilt range for ergonomic positioning.
  • ENHANCED GAMING FEATURES: Includes Shadow Control, Game Mode presets, and a user-friendly graphical OSD menu for fast and intuitive performance tuning.

Input and refresh rate

Check the maximum refresh rate for the connection you plan to use, not just the largest number in a headline. The Acer report explicitly gives different maxima for DisplayPort and HDMI. Also consider whether your PC or console can render games at a frame rate that makes a high-refresh panel useful; a monitor’s ceiling does not create extra frames.

Adaptive sync and panel type

Look for the named variable-refresh feature and verify compatibility with your graphics hardware or console. The cited sources identify FreeSync and G-SYNC compatibility for the KTC, and FreeSync Premium plus G-SYNC Compatible for the AOC. IPS and VA identify different panel types, but those labels alone do not establish which monitor will look better in your room or for your uses.

Best Value

HDR claims

Do not choose on “HDR10” or “DisplayHDR 400” alone. The Acer report calls its HDR basic and notes no local dimming; PC Gamer flags limited HDR on the KTC. For a stronger basis to judge HDR, look for brightness, dimming details and independent measurements for the exact model, rather than treating a format or certification label as a guarantee of image impact.

Stand, ports and mounting

Check the adjustments and connections you need before buying. The KTC’s cited stand is tilt-only and it has no USB ports; the AOC lists four downstream USB ports; and TechRadar reports VESA mounting compatibility for the Acer. If you will use an external arm or need greater height adjustment, include any additional mount or stand cost in your comparison.

A practical buying checklist

  1. Set a local ceiling. Choose your market and maximum total cost, including delivery and any stand or mount you need.
  2. Confirm the SKU. Match the full model name, suffix, size and 2560 × 1440 resolution on the seller’s listing to the manufacturer or cited product information.
  3. Check the connection you will use. Verify its supported refresh rate and make sure your computer or console has the matching output.
  4. Compare the features you will notice. Prioritize refresh rate and adaptive sync for gaming, or ports and stand adjustment for a desk used throughout the day.
  5. Check the buying terms. Confirm in-stock status, shipping, warranty coverage and return policy for that exact regional model.
  6. Choose by the current offer. Compare eligible models using live local prices; do not treat an old promotional price or a high feature count as proof of current value.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
