How to cancel a Browse AI subscription
- Sign in to Browse AI with an account that has Admin or Owner billing permissions. Only those roles can view and manage subscription plans; members on a free workspace cannot.
- Open Billing, then select Cancel Subscription.
- Choose a cancellation reason. Browse AI’s guide says a reason is required.
- Select Cancel Subscription Renewal to confirm. These labels and steps are from Browse AI’s subscription guide; they may change, so check the current official instructions if the dashboard differs.
Cancellation stops the next renewal, but the subscription remains active through the end of the current billing cycle. The dashboard indicates remaining credits and their expiration. Browse AI says robots, task history and integrations are saved, and that you can resubscribe later. Its guide says pausing is not available; cancellation is the stated way to stop future subscription payments.

When Browse AI says it may issue a refund
Browse AI’s refund policy, published March 13, 2026, describes refunds for up to 60 days in specific situations—not a blanket 60-day satisfaction guarantee. Check which case applies before contacting support.

How to request a refund
- Cancel the subscription through Billing using the steps above. Do not treat cancellation itself as a refund request.
- Email Browse AI support from the same email address you used to sign up.
- Identify the relevant payment or renewal and explain why you believe the published condition applies. For a failed-use request, describe what you were trying to automate, what challenges you encountered, and—where relevant—include links to the affected robots. The policy requires that you have already reported a failed-use issue to support without resolution.
Browse AI says refund requests are handled manually and that it usually responds within 2–3 business days. It says it will honor the request based on the date sent if its response is late. Payments use Stripe; Browse AI estimates 5–10 business days for a refund to reach the customer’s bank. These are company-published estimates, not guarantees of when a particular bank will post funds.
Cancellation, deletion and other billing changes
Deleting the account does not cancel billing
Account deletion is separate from subscription cancellation. Browse AI’s deletion guide, published August 14, 2026, explicitly cautions that deleting an account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Paid users should cancel first if they want to prevent renewal; the guide says paid users should contact support to process deletion. See Browse AI’s account deletion instructions.

Changing tiers is not a cancellation or refund
Browse AI’s subscription-change guide says a tier change charges the full price of the new plan immediately, carries remaining credits into the new plan’s allowance for the current cycle, and resets the billing date. Those terms describe upgrades and downgrades, not cancellation credits or a promise of a prorated refund. See the subscription-change guide.
