Choose the Brooks Ghost 18 if you want Brooks’ balanced-support daily road shoe; choose the Adrenaline GTS 25 if you prefer its explicitly structured-support design with GuideRails. Both are presented for road running and walking, and both have a listed 10 mm drop. The practical choice is the support feel and fit you prefer—not a diagnosis or a promise about injury prevention.
How the Ghost and Adrenaline differ
Brooks’ current U.S. men’s listings position the Ghost 18 as a balanced-support shoe and the Adrenaline GTS 25 as a structured-support shoe. Brooks says the Ghost’s secure heel and dynamic forefoot provide inherent stability; for the Adrenaline, it says GuideRails technology helps keep excess movement in check. Those are manufacturer descriptions of each shoe’s design, not a clinical assessment of a runner’s gait.

Which one should you choose?
Choose the Ghost 18 for balanced support
Consider the Ghost if you want the balanced-support option for daily road running or walking. Its listed men’s weight is 0.4 oz / 11.3 g lower and its U.S. list price is $5 lower than the Adrenaline’s figures on the cited pages. Those differences may matter to your priorities, but they do not establish that you will notice the weight change or prefer the shoe.

Consider the Adrenaline GTS 25 for structured support
Consider the Adrenaline if Brooks’ structured-support approach and GuideRails design match the feel you want. The product page’s explanation is about helping keep excess movement in check; it does not establish that the shoe corrects overpronation, suits a particular foot condition, or prevents injuries.
If the support labels do not decide it
Try both in the size and width that fit you. Product descriptions and listed specifications cannot tell you which shoe will feel comfortable on your feet, and there is no hands-on fit or wear comparison behind these figures.

What the published specs do—and do not—settle
There is no listed drop difference between these men’s versions: Brooks gives both a 10 mm midsole drop. Brooks also labels cushioning as balanced on both pages, so the listings do not establish that one is universally softer. Treat fit and comfort as personal preferences rather than assuming one model is better for every runner.
