Is BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN released on PC?
As of October 7, 2026, Steam lists BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN as not yet available, while the Epic Games Store listing says “Coming Soon” for Windows. Both listings give the release date as to be announced. Availability can change, so check the storefront where you plan to play before troubleshooting.

The store descriptions identify it as a first-person psychological horror game: Kazuaki encounters Miki-chan, a virtual assistant, and the Rewriter alters the environment or reality as part of gameplay. Check the PC requirements without mixing storefronts
Steam and Epic publish different requirement tables. These are storefront-listed specifications, not independent performance tests; they do not promise a particular frame rate at any resolution or graphics setting. Compare your system with the listing for the store you use, and recheck its live page because the game is not yet shown as released.

The Epic figures are from its store listing. Because its surfaced CPU and memory labels are unclear, do not infer missing values from the storage figures or combine its table with Steam’s.

What to do if the game crashes or will not launch
No title-specific crash cause, launch option, file-verification procedure, save location, or developer-confirmed fix is available in the checked listings. Once you have a released build, use low-risk checks to collect useful information rather than treating generic PC advice as a confirmed repair.

- Confirm the build and store. Check that the game is available and that any update has finished installing in the storefront you use.
- Compare your PC with that storefront’s requirements. Use its own table above; do not assume the two stores’ figures are interchangeable.
- Record what happens. Note whether the game closes before opening, crashes during a particular scene, or displays an error. Record the error text, Windows version, processor, graphics card, memory, and whether the game was recently updated.
- Consult official support when it is published. Use the developer or storefront support route for the release build and follow its instructions. The checked sources do not establish a MIKI-CHAN support portal or a specific repair procedure.
A crash report is more useful when it includes the exact error and the system details above. Avoid deleting game or save files, disabling security protections, or changing system settings on the assumption that any of those actions is an established fix for this game.

How to approach low FPS
The listed minimum and recommended hardware tiers do not establish measured FPS, a target frame rate, or performance at a particular resolution or graphics preset. No benchmark results for BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN are available in the checked sources, so a system meeting the recommended tier should not be treated as a guarantee of smooth performance.

What to check if a controller is not working
SteamDB categorizes the game as “Gamepad Preferred” and “Partial Controller Support” in its title metadata. This is a limited third-party signal, not an official compatibility list: it does not say which controller models work, what functions may be partial, or whether the metadata reflects a released build.

- Check whether the released game build exposes input or controller settings, and see whether the controller appears there.
- If you already have access to one, compare behavior with a known XInput-compatible controller. This is a generic diagnostic comparison, not a documented MIKI-CHAN fix.
- Note the controller model, connection method, and what does or does not respond, then include those details in a support request if official support becomes available.
The available sources do not confirm native support for a particular Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch controller.
