Bosch identifies the PXE875DC1E as a Series 8, 80 cm induction hob. Its specification sheets list four cooking positions and a flexible zone, with touch operation through DirectSelect Premium. The model also includes PerfectFry, Bosch’s pan-temperature assistance feature. These are manufacturer-stated features, not independent performance results.

How do the flexible zone and controls work?
FlexInduction cooking area
Bosch describes FlexInduction as allowing two zones to be combined into a larger area. The New Zealand specification describes the left side as either one 400 × 240 mm area or two 200 mm areas, alongside 280 mm and 145 mm zones. Bosch Australia likewise says the flexible area combines two zones. This layout is intended to accommodate different cookware footprints, but the cited specifications do not establish which pans perform best or how evenly the zone heats them.

Use induction-compatible cookware and follow the hob’s manual for placement and pan-size guidance. If you regularly use a long griddle or an unusually sized pan, check its base dimensions against the regional manual rather than assuming that any pan will be detected across the whole flexible area.
DirectSelect Premium and Move Mode
DirectSelect Premium provides touch controls for selecting cooking settings. Bosch Australia also lists Move Mode: it divides the flexible area into three preset power levels, so moving a pan between sections changes its selected level. Availability of this feature should be confirmed for the specific regional variant; Bosch’s country pages do not describe every feature identically.
PerfectFry temperature assistance
Bosch describes PerfectFry as temperature regulation for frying. Its Vietnam specification sheet lists five temperature settings. Bosch New Zealand’s product description says the hob can “achieve perfect frying results thanks to automatic temperature control”; that is Bosch’s promotional claim, not an independently measured result. The available specifications do not establish sensor accuracy or consistency across pans, ingredients and cooking conditions.

Because regional feature descriptions differ, treat this as a list of functions reported on those particular country sheets, not a guarantee that every PXE875DC1E sold worldwide has exactly the same configuration.
Will it fit your kitchen and electrical supply?
Check the appliance dimensions, worktop cutout and electrical requirements against the installation guide for your exact E-Nr and market before ordering or arranging installation. Bosch’s published regional values include:

The Vietnam sheet also specifies a 1.1 m cable connected to a terminal block. Confirm the electrical circuit capacity, protection and connection method with a qualified local installer; a 7.4 kW connected-load figure is not, by itself, an instruction to connect the hob to any particular circuit.

How do the regional versions differ?
Bosch’s country-specific pages are not identical descriptions of the product. Australia lists Move Mode and framed surface mounting, while Vietnam describes the hob as frameless. The New Zealand and Australian sheets provide the same stated external dimensions, but local installation details and advertised features still need to be checked against the relevant version. Match the full model designation and E-Nr on the appliance or listing with the regional Bosch documentation before relying on a specification.
