Bosch Australia now marks it “Product is no longer available,” and CHOICE lists it as discontinued, so treat it as a model to assess if you own one or find verified regional stock—not as a readily available current recommendation. The specifications below come from Bosch; the available CHOICE listing does not disclose its detailed test scores, so this is a specification-based review, not a hands-on performance verdict.
What is the Bosch PVS675FB1E?
It is a framed, 60 cm induction hob in Bosch’s Series 6 range. Bosch lists four cooking positions, Direct Select 1.0 touch controls and a Combi Zone. The product page lists neither a frying sensor nor Home Connect. See Bosch’s Australian product page and specification sheet.

| Zone | Diameter | Standard output | PowerBoost output |
|---|---|---|---|
| Front left | 210 mm | 2.2 kW | 3.7 kW |

| Front right | 180 mm | 1.8 kW | 3.1 kW |
| Rear right | 145 mm | 1.4 kW | 2.2 kW |
The specification sheet gives a total connected load of 6.9 kW. PowerBoost is intended to heat large quantities of water more quickly; Bosch’s Australian product page claims it can do so up to 35% faster than the highest standard setting. That is a manufacturer comparison, not an independently measured result.

How do Combi Zone and the other functions work?
Combi Zone and Move Mode
Combi Zone lets you combine the two left-hand cooking zones for larger cookware. Bosch describes Move Mode as dividing a zone into preset power levels, so cookware can be moved between levels rather than manually resetting power each time. These are manufacturer descriptions, not independent tests of cooking results.
Controls and safety features
The listed functions include PowerBoost, a timer with automatic switch-off, QuickStart, ReStart, an energy-consumption display, two-stage residual-heat indicators, child lock and automatic safety switch-off. The feature list describes what the cooktop offers; it does not establish how quickly it boils, how evenly it cooks or how it performs in a particular kitchen.

CHOICE shows a price of $2,199, but it is a review-page listing, not a verified current offer. CHOICE also records a two-year warranty, Spain as country of origin, and a test year of “2023 or earlier.” Check the warranty terms applicable to the specific unit and country, especially if considering old stock or a second-hand cooktop.

CHOICE’s page identifies the model and its test-year range, but its expert rating, member-only pros and cons, and detailed test scores are gated. The accessible information therefore does not establish an overall test result, boil time or cooking-performance advantage. No direct physical testing or owner experience is represented here, so claims about noise, cleaning, reliability or real-world cooking results would be unsupported.
For an existing owner, Bosch provides regional service pages for manuals, installation instructions, troubleshooting and spare parts: Bosch Australia support and Bosch UK service. What is available can vary by region.
Who should consider this cooktop?
The PVS675FB1E may suit someone replacing an existing unit with matching dimensions and electrical requirements, or a buyer who values its four-zone layout and left-side Combi Zone and can verify local stock and support. It is a weaker fit if you specifically need Home Connect or a frying sensor, since Bosch does not list either feature for this model. Because its Australian listing is no longer available and independent performance results are not accessible here, confirm the exact unit, installation suitability, warranty and local support before committing.
