The Bosch PUJ611BB5H is a Series 4, 60 cm frameless induction cooktop with three cooking zones, 17 power levels, timers and PowerBoost. Its official specifications make the main buying questions practical ones: whether the three zone sizes suit your cookware, whether the cutout matches Bosch’s dimensions, and whether your electrical installation can accommodate the listed 4.6 kW connected load. Bosch’s published New Zealand and Australian sheets establish those features, but do not provide independent performance testing or hands-on review results.
What the Bosch PUJ611BB5H offers
Bosch describes the PUJ611BB5H as a “Series 4, Induction cooktop, 60 cm, surface mount without frame.” It has touch controls and three cooking zones. The following outputs and diameters are Bosch’s published specifications for New Zealand and Australia; the documents do not state a publication year.

| Position | Zone diameter | Standard output | Maximum with PowerBoost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rear left | 280 mm | 2.6 kW | 3.7 kW |
| Rear right | 145 mm | 1.4 kW | 2.2 kW |
| Front right | 210 mm | 2.2 kW | 3.7 kW |
Those figures are useful for checking zone size against the pans you actually use. The specifications do not establish that a particular pan will perform well on a zone, nor do they report independent heating-time tests. Induction also requires compatible cookware; check the cookware maker’s guidance if you are unsure whether a pan is suitable.

How its controls and timed functions work
Bosch lists 17 power levels—nine main settings and eight intermediate settings—along with a switch-off timer and a countdown timer. The switch-off timer is intended to turn off a selected cooking zone after the set time; a countdown timer provides a time alert. Confirm the local manual for the exact operating steps and behavior.

Designed for large-volume usage, it is ideal for commercial and professional settings such as restaurants, industrial kitchens, and other catering services.
- EASY TO CONTROL & CLEAN - The control buttons with solid tactile response make operation intuitive and precise. With simple and clear display, the Key-Press-Control Panel provides clear visibility and easy control, even with gloves or wet hands. With no open flame or heating element, food does not burn onto the glass cooktop, making it easy to clean greasy dirt.
PowerBoost
Bosch says PowerBoost can provide up to 50% more power than the highest standard level. The listed zone-specific maximum outputs appear in the table above. This is a manufacturer-stated feature, not an independently measured cooking-speed result.
QuickStart and ReStart
QuickStart detects cookware when the hob is switched on, according to Bosch. ReStart restores settings if the hob is switched on again within four seconds after an unintended switch-off. Bosch lists both as product functions; actual operation should be checked in the manual for the local model.

- PORTABLE INDUCTION BURNER: Duxtop induction cooktop uses 110/120 V 15 amp electrical outlet–standard in all North American homes. ETL listed and built to North American electrical standards. It is lightweight and compact for easy handling and storage
- Choose from 20 preset power levels (100 to 1800 W) and 20 preset temperature level settings (100 °F to 460 °F). With an 83% energy efficiency, induction burner is more efficient than traditional gas or electric stoves
- DIGITAL LCD SENSOR: Touch control panel: child safety lock keeps the cooking and timer settings from being accidentally changed once they have been set; fast boil button; keep warm button (for 1-30 minutes at 140 °F); up to 10-hour timer button
- Induction stoves rely on cookware to heat, so it’s essential to choose magnetic bottom cookware with a minimum diameter of 5 inches. Auto-pan detection will shut off automatically after 60 seconds if no cookware, or the incorrect cookware is detected
- Although induction itself is a noiseless process, there may be high pitched sounds from the cookware due to multiple layers of metals sandwiched together. Please allow the induction cooker to cool down before cleaning
Will it fit your countertop?
Check the worktop opening and thickness against the model documentation before ordering. Bosch’s New Zealand and Australian sheets list the following dimensions:
| Measurement | Bosch specification |
|---|---|
| Cooktop dimensions (H × W × D) | 51 × 592 × 522 mm |
| Required niche dimensions (H × W × D) | 51 × 560 × 490–500 mm |
| Minimum worktop thickness | 16 mm |
These are manufacturer-listed dimensions, not a substitute for installation instructions. Confirm clearances, cutout details and the exact regional variant with Bosch’s local documentation and installer; do not assume an existing opening will fit based only on the nominal “60 cm” size.

Electrical connection and installation
Bosch lists a 4.6 kW connected load and a 1.1 m cord that is directly connected. It also lists PowerManagement, which can limit the total cooktop load. A load-limiting setting does not by itself establish that the appliance is compatible with a particular circuit or wiring arrangement. Bosch advises consulting a licensed electrician about suitability and installation. Local electrical rules and the appliance’s regional variant matter, so verify these before purchase.

What this review can—and cannot—conclude
The official documentation establishes the configuration, control features and installation figures, but it does not establish independent cooking-speed results, operating-noise measurements, reliability rates, current price or stock, warranty terms, or hands-on performance. Treat claims about boost and automatic functions as Bosch’s descriptions rather than tested outcomes.

- Compare the number and diameter of zones with the cookware sizes your household uses.
- Compare standard and boost outputs, while distinguishing manufacturer specifications from independent tests.
- Match the required niche dimensions, clearances and worktop requirements to your countertop.
