BlueVPS may suit buyers who can match a plan to a specific workload and verify the terms for their chosen location. Its published menu spans low-cost KVM configurations through larger NVMe options, but listed prices alone do not establish performance or value: bandwidth terms differ across pages, uptime claims conflict, and renewal pricing is not consistently clear. No independent, reproducible performance or uptime measurements are established here, so treat the provider’s hardware and reliability statements as claims rather than verified results.
What BlueVPS offers
BlueVPS describes itself as a KVM VPS/VDS provider established in 2016, with locations across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. It lists AMD EPYC and Intel Xeon hardware, Linux and Windows operating systems, several storage types, and 24/7 ticket support. These are company statements; they do not independently establish staffing levels, facility certifications, workload performance or compliance at a particular data center. See the company overview for its description of the service.

The relevant choice is not simply “cheap versus expensive.” Compare the location your users need, CPU and memory for your application, storage class and capacity, the bandwidth terms that apply to the plan, operating system, and total cost over the billing period. Confirm what IPv4 and IPv6 are included, since the displayed examples do not establish those details for every configuration.
How the listed plans compare
The BlueVPS homepage snapshot checked on October 7, 2026 shows these examples. Prices and configurations are page listings, not guaranteed checkout totals; location, operating system, payment term, tax and availability can affect the final selection.
#1 Best Overall
| Listed plan | Displayed price and billing | Memory and CPU | Storage | Port and bandwidth listing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| bKVM 512 | $3.67 per month; quarterly minimum | 512 MB RAM; one listed CPU core | 6 GB RAID-10 HDD | 1 Gbps port; unlimited bandwidth shown |
| NVMe-bKVM 1024 | $6 per month; billing minimum not stated in the cited listing | 1 GB RAM; two listed CPU cores | 12 GB NVMe | 1 Gbps port; bandwidth allowance not stated in the cited listing |
| bKVM 2048 | $12 per month; billing minimum not stated in the cited listing | not stated in the cited listing | not stated in the cited listing | not stated in the cited listing |
| NVMe-bKVM 4096 | $20 per month; billing minimum not stated in the cited listing | not stated in the cited listing | not stated in the cited listing | not stated in the cited listing |
These figures come from the BlueVPS homepage, checked October 7, 2026. “Unlimited” in a product listing should not be read as unlimited throughput or as proof that every location and plan has the same monthly allowance. The terms may specify different limits.
Who might consider the entry configuration?
The bKVM 512 is a low-cost starting point only for a workload that can genuinely run within 512 MB of memory and one listed CPU core. That may fit a small test service or lightweight, carefully managed task, but the listing alone cannot show how a real application will perform. Check the operating system’s resource needs and leave room for the application, background services and traffic rather than choosing solely by price.

When the NVMe option is relevant
The NVMe-bKVM 1024 listing doubles the displayed memory to 1 GB, lists two CPU cores and provides 12 GB of NVMe storage. NVMe may be relevant when storage responsiveness matters, but the product name and specifications do not prove a particular speed. Confirm that the capacity and memory are adequate for your data and workload, and compare the exact selected configuration at checkout.

What the performance and reliability claims establish
The plan pages advertise port speeds, while the terms describe minimum bandwidth. Those are different specifications: a 1 Gbps port is not a promise that the VPS will sustain 1 Gbps throughput. BlueVPS.com’s terms, checked October 7, 2026, state minimum bandwidth of 10 Mbit for a 1 Gbit VPS, 100 Mbit for a 10 Gbit VPS, and 50 Mbit for a High Load VPS. The same terms say Cyprus service is around 30 Mbit. Check the applicable terms and the offer for your exact location before relying on a port headline. BlueVPS.com Terms of Service

BlueVPS’s published uptime figures are inconsistent, and should not be combined into a single promise. The .com terms state a 99.99% network uptime guarantee, subject to exceptions that include maintenance, software updates, DDoS attacks, natural disasters, force majeure and customer-caused downtime. The .net terms state 99%, while the USA VPS page advertises 99.9%. These are vendor contractual or marketing claims, not independently measured historical uptime. Ask which contracting entity and SLA govern your location and plan before purchase.
The separate .net terms also state that KVM VPS includes 3 TB monthly bandwidth, except Hong Kong at 300 GB. That differs in form from product listings that display “unlimited” bandwidth. Do not assume the .net allowance applies to a .com order or that either statement governs every location; confirm the terms tied to the actual service. BlueVPS.net Terms of Service · USA VPS page

An independent CloudsPress catalog roundup says it checked 21 plans and read their prices from the provider website on September 24, 2026; it reports that renewal prices were not published for the plans checked. This is a dated observation about price transparency, not a speed or reliability test. Ask for the renewal amount and billing cycle before committing. CloudsPress BlueVPS roundup

BlueVPS’s refund policy describes a seven-day request window for unused service periods. The policy excludes cryptocurrency payments and installation-assistance fees; it directs customers to contact Sales through the ticket system and requires identity verification for a full refund. It lists PayPal and cards as refund methods. Read the policy applicable to the order and confirm eligibility before paying. BlueVPS refund policy
The .com terms additionally say the provider may request identification documents, list prohibited uses and jurisdictions from which it does not accept orders, and reserve the right to refuse renewal of an active service. Those provisions can matter for sensitive data, regulated workloads, email use or a service that must remain continuously available. Review the current terms rather than assuming a VPS is suitable for a particular compliance requirement or region.
Which BlueVPS plan should you choose?
Start with workload requirements, not a plan label. A small development or test environment may be able to use an entry listing; a service with heavier memory, CPU or storage demands needs a configuration sized from its actual requirements. The published examples do not provide enough evidence to prescribe a tier for an unspecified application.
- Choose the location first: prioritize proximity to users or dependencies, then verify the location-specific network terms.
- Size resources: check CPU cores, RAM and disk capacity against the operating system and application, including expected growth.
- Choose storage intentionally: distinguish RAID-10 HDD, SSD and NVMe rather than treating all storage as equivalent; verify the exact type and capacity on the selected plan.
- Read the bandwidth details: distinguish port speed from the stated minimum throughput or monthly allowance, and resolve conflicting product and terms-page descriptions.
- Confirm the OS and IP details: verify Windows or Linux availability and whether the needed IPv4/IPv6 addresses are included or cost extra.
- Calculate the full term cost: check minimum billing period, renewal rate, taxes and the amount shown at checkout; do not infer a renewal price from a monthly headline.
- Check operational fit: confirm support and SLA terms for the contracting entity, and make sure the refund conditions suit your payment method and use case.
Verdict
BlueVPS is worth considering when its available location and resource configuration match a defined workload and you are willing to verify the service-specific contract before ordering. Its low displayed starting price and variety of configurations are useful selection points, not evidence of measured performance. The unresolved uptime discrepancy, differences in bandwidth wording and uncertain renewal pricing make checking the exact checkout offer and governing terms essential.
