1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesYou can view a Blink camera on an LG Smart TV by connecting a compatible Fire TV device and using Alexa, or by mirroring the Blink app from a supported phone. The reviewed official documentation does not establish a native Blink app for LG webOS, so these methods use Fire TV or your phone rather than an LG Content Store app.
Choose the viewing method that fits your setup
| Method | What you need | Useful to know |
|---|---|---|
| Fire TV with Alexa | A compatible Fire TV device, a Blink camera set up in the Blink app, and Blink linked to Alexa | Blink documents live view on Fire TV; Alexa live view lasts five minutes. |
| Phone screen mirroring | A phone with a supported screen-sharing option and an LG TV compatible with that method | Availability depends on the phone and exact TV model; this mirrors the phone screen, not a TV app. |
Choose Fire TV if you want to launch the camera with Alexa and already have, or plan to use, a compatible Fire TV device. Choose mirroring if you would rather open Live View on your phone and your devices support screen sharing. The available documentation does not establish either method as a continuous, permanent security monitor.

View a Blink camera using Fire TV and Alexa
Blink says you can access camera live views on Alexa-enabled devices including Fire TV. Connect the Fire TV device to the LG TV over HDMI, then use Alexa’s Smart Home Dashboard or a voice command to open the camera.
- Set up the camera. Confirm the Blink camera appears in the Blink app.
- Connect Fire TV to the LG TV. Plug the Fire TV device into an HDMI input, then select that input on the TV.
- Link Blink with Alexa. Enable the Blink SmartHome skill in Alexa and connect or discover your Blink system and cameras.
- Launch the feed. Open the Smart Home Dashboard on Fire TV using Alexa, or ask Alexa to show the camera by its discovered name. Blink’s general command is
Alexa, show me [camera name].The exact wording may differ by support page or localization. - Exit when finished. Blink says Alexa live view lasts five minutes. Tell Alexa to stop or exit the view when you are done.
Blink also documents fullscreen and preview/Picture-in-Picture voice options for Fire TV. The specific commands can depend on the Fire TV and Alexa setup, so use the current Fire TV instructions and the name Alexa has discovered for your camera.

Mirror the Blink app from a phone
Open the camera’s Live View in the Blink app first, then mirror your phone screen to the TV. This shows the phone’s display on the LG TV; it does not install Blink on webOS.
Android
- Open Live View in the Blink app.
- Open your phone’s screen-sharing control, which may be labeled Screen Share, Smart View, or something similar.
- Select the LG TV and accept the connection on the television if prompted.
Names and steps vary by Android handset and TV. If the TV does not appear, check that the phone supports a compatible screen-sharing method and follow the TV’s on-screen Screen Share prompt.

iPhone

- When finished, stop mirroring from the iPhone.
Check your LG TV’s mirroring and Multi-View support
LG AirPlay 2 compatibility is specific to TV model year and series; the supported list includes certain models from 2018 onward, not every LG Smart TV. Check the exact TV series and its manual rather than relying on the Smart TV label alone. Menu names and compatibility can vary by model.
Do not assume LG Multi-View will display a Blink feed. LG says supported apps and combinations vary, and Multi-View is unavailable on some models. Its availability does not establish that a particular Blink-camera setup can be shown in that mode.

Troubleshoot a missing or unstable feed
- The LG TV is missing from iPhone Screen Mirroring: Confirm AirPlay is enabled on the TV and that the iPhone and TV are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- An Android phone cannot find the TV: Check that the handset has a compatible screen-sharing feature and look for the TV’s Screen Share prompt. The steps depend on the devices.
- A mirrored feed stutters: LG notes that wireless mirroring depends on the network connection. Signal strength and network conditions can affect performance.
- Alexa cannot find the camera: Confirm Blink is linked in Alexa and that Alexa has discovered the camera under the name you are using.
- The Fire TV view ends: Blink specifies a five-minute Alexa live view. Start another view if you need to check the camera again.
What these methods do—and do not—establish
Blink’s documented television route is Fire TV with Alexa. Phone mirroring is an alternative when the phone and LG TV support the required protocol. The official sources reviewed do not establish a native Blink camera app for LG webOS, and they do not establish that either option provides an always-on monitor. Compatibility and menus can also vary by device, account region, and current software.
