The 2022 Enhanced Edition is a restoration of the 1997 adventure, not a separate story entry. Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth is listed as TBA, so it does not belong in the released-games order.
Released Blade Runner games in release order
| Release year | Game | Format | Original platform(s) documented |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1985 | Blade Runner | Single-player shoot ’em up, loosely inspired by the 1982 film | Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC |
| 1997 | Blade Runner | Point-and-click adventure by Westwood Studios | Windows |
| 2018 | Blade Runner: Revelations | Virtual-reality game | Google Daydream |
1. Blade Runner (1985)
The earliest game shares the film’s title, but it is not the later detective adventure. It is a shoot ’em up released for 8-bit home computers. Its loose inspiration from the 1982 film makes it part of the franchise’s interactive history, but its genre and format are quite different from the 1997 game. The 1985 game reference and franchise chronology describe the release and platforms.

2. Blade Runner (1997)
This is the Westwood Studios point-and-click adventure most people mean when they refer to the classic Blade Runner PC game. Its branching, real-time story structure can produce a different experience across playthroughs. Nintendo’s product description says it features more than 70 motion-captured characters with AI and their own agendas; that number and characterization are publisher-provided claims. Nintendo’s product listing describes those features.

Revelations is the franchise’s VR entry in this release list, with Google Daydream documented as its platform. Its year and platform are listed in the franchise chronology. That information establishes the original platform, not current availability or compatibility.

Is Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition a separate game?
No. Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition is a 2022 restoration of Westwood’s 1997 adventure, rather than a fourth original story game. Nintendo lists the Switch version as released June 23, 2022, while Nightdive Studios producer Karlee Wetzel announced the game’s return for PC and consoles on Xbox Wire on June 24, 2022. These are the respective listing and announcement dates; for the franchise’s release order, it is clearest to call it a 2022 restoration.
Nintendo describes video reconstruction, HD display, an enhanced KIA/clue interface, subtitles, gamepad support and image filtering. Wetzel’s Xbox Wire announcement describes 4K upscaling, 60 FPS, keyboard and gamepad support, and a new KIA clue interface. These are edition feature descriptions, not independent performance test results. See Nintendo’s Switch listing and the Xbox Wire announcement.

What about Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth?
Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth appears in the franchise chronology as TBA. Because it is listed as unreleased, it should be treated as an announced or upcoming title—not added to the order of games that have already been released. Its status may change, so check the franchise chronology for the current listing.
Which order should you play them in?
If you want to follow the games’ release history, go from 1985 to 1997 to 2018. If you mean the classic detective-style PC adventure, start with the 1997 Blade Runner; the 2022 Enhanced Edition is the restored version of that same game. The 1985 title is a distinct shoot ’em up, and Revelations is a VR release. The platforms listed above are original platforms; current acquisition and playability for the 1985 and 2018 games are not established here.
