According to reporter Sachin Patel, the rest of the Bing results page looked unchanged.
What the report observed
Patel said he could reproduce the light-blue boxes in several browser sessions, including an Incognito window and a normal window. That matters because it suggests the change was not limited to a single signed-in profile or cached page. The report does not name the other browsers tested, the devices used, or the locations where the sessions were run.

Patel also wrote that the boxes changed only this section. In his words: “The rest of the Bing SERP looks the same as usual. Only the box design for this section has changed.”
What the report does not establish
- Audience size. Patel speculated that the test may have been visible to a wide group or possibly everyone, but he gave no measurement to support that.
- Geography and rollout scope. No countries, regions, or user segments are identified.
- Official status. The report contains no Microsoft or Bing statement, so the change cannot be described as an announced redesign or a permanent one.
- Purpose and results. The report does not explain why the design was tested and includes no click-through, usability, or accessibility data. Nothing in it shows whether the boxes help or hurt how people use the page.

The only comparison the report supports is visual: the earlier plain presentation against questions shown in light-blue boxes.

How to check what you see
- Open Bing in a browser and run a informational query, such as a how-to or definition question, that usually shows a “People also ask” block.
- Scroll to that block and note whether each question sits in a light-blue box or appears as plain text.
- Open a private window and run the same query. Compare the two results.
- Check again on a different day or from a different network. Layouts can vary by session, so one match or mismatch is not proof of a wider test.
- Record the date and browser. If you publish or share what you saw, cite the date so readers can judge whether the layout still applies.
A screenshot from your own session is more useful than a general claim, because it shows exactly what your browser displayed at that time.
