Who is Biddy Blas?
Biddy Blas was created specifically for Star Wars: Galactic Racer, rather than brought back from an earlier Star Wars story, GamesRadar+ reports. He speaks Huttese and can sabotage a rival’s vehicle during gameplay.

Why are fans calling him “Glup Shitto”?
“Glup Shitto” is fan slang for an obscure, named Star Wars character—not an official Lucasfilm category. Gamereactor used the phrase in its coverage of the game’s mix of familiar and new racers. Its August 2026 interview with game director Matt Webster included his comment: “I had to look this up some weeks ago,” referring to the term.

GamesRadar+ reported that fan posts after launch called Blas a favorite and praised his voice. That reporting establishes online attention, but does not quantify how widespread it was. The character’s Huttese dialogue and radio presence give fans a memorable performance to share; voice actor Richard Summers-Calvert is identified in GamesRadar+’s coverage.
What did the narrative director say—and was it a producer response?
Speaking to GamesRadar+ at Gamescom 2026, Nathaniel Daw, Fuse Games’ narrative director, described Blas as “a short, angry little alien who just gets really angry all the time. He’s a bad loser and he’s a worse winner.”

The timing and attribution matter: the source-backed quote is Daw’s character description from Gamescom, not a new statement made after online fan reaction. The reporting does not establish that a producer responded, nor does it identify Daw as a producer. Matt Webster is separately identified by Gamereactor as the game director; his remarks about “Glup Shitto” are from a different interview.
