For supported games tied to PC storefront accounts, GeForce NOW is the clearest fit in the available provider information. For included-game catalogs, compare options such as Amazon Luna and PlayStation Plus against their current catalogs, device support, and terms rather than assuming any one service is a universal replacement.
Start with how you want to access games
Cloud gaming services do not all sell the same kind of access. Some subscriptions include a changing selection of games; others stream eligible games linked to accounts at stores such as Steam or Epic Games Store. Some services combine elements of both. Before comparing features, identify the games you want to play and whether you are willing to buy them separately.

The European Commission describes subscription, buy-to-play, free-to-play, and bring-your-own-game models, and notes that publishers’ streaming rights can affect availability. Its cloud gaming market paper is useful for understanding these models, not for checking a service’s current price or library.
- Choose a catalog service if you want a set of games included with a subscription and are comfortable with the selection changing.
- Choose a bring-your-own-game service if you already own supported PC games and want to stream eligible titles rather than buy them again through a cloud service.
- Check free-to-play access separately: a service may support some free games without making its full catalog available at no cost.
Best fit for PC games you already own: GeForce NOW
NVIDIA describes GeForce NOW as streaming supported PC games from connected accounts. Its supported account list includes Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect, Battle.net, EA app, GOG, and Xbox. In general, you need to own or buy the game through a supported storefront, although NVIDIA also supports hundreds of free-to-play games. NVIDIA’s live FAQ reported over 4,500 games in its library when checked on October 4, 2026. That is a provider-reported total, not an independent count or a guarantee that a specific title will work for you. Search the current catalog for each game you care about before subscribing; NVIDIA notes that availability can vary by country.
Understand Install-to-Play eligibility
NVIDIA also offers premium members access to thousands of opted-in Steam games through Install-to-Play. This feature depends on publisher opt-in, so it does not make every Steam game streamable. A large overall library figure and Install-to-Play’s separate selection are not interchangeable promises of access.

GeForce NOW is therefore a strong candidate when your priority is streaming supported PC games associated with accounts you already use. It is not a way to stream every game in those accounts, and the exact eligible list matters more than the headline count.

Amazon Luna
Luna is worth investigating if you prefer a catalog-oriented option, particularly if you already use Amazon Prime. The UK Competition and Markets Authority’s 2024-era description covers Luna’s subscription/catalog orientation and some bring-your-own-game features, but it is a dated market snapshot rather than a current statement of terms.

A September 2026 Windows Central report listed additions including DOOM Eternal, Star Wars: Outlaws, and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. These are examples reported at that time, not a promise that the games remain available. Check Luna’s live catalog and current Prime or subscription terms before choosing it.
PlayStation Plus
PlayStation Plus is another catalog service to investigate if you are focused on PlayStation games. The CMA’s description is from 2024 and does not establish the service’s current streaming catalog, supported devices, or price. Confirm those details on Sony’s current official service pages for your country; do not rely on older descriptions for a present-day buying decision.

Boosteroid
The CMA and European Commission materials discuss Boosteroid as a bring-your-own-game option in the cloud gaming market. That classification alone does not establish which of your games are currently supported, where the service operates, its device compatibility, price, or performance. Check Boosteroid’s current official information against your specific games and location before treating it as an alternative.
How Xbox Cloud Gaming compares as a starting point
Xbox Cloud Gaming itself is not a single unrestricted catalog. Xbox says supported free-to-play games can be played with a free Microsoft account in a supported region, while eligible games require an eligible Game Pass subscription. Xbox lists Windows PCs, Apple and Android phones and tablets, Xbox consoles, select LG, Samsung, and VIDAA TVs, Amazon Fire TV, and select Meta Quest headsets among supported device categories. Exact compatibility can depend on the device and setup, so confirm your model and the relevant app or browser requirements on Xbox’s device information before relying on a particular screen.
Check these details before paying
- Search for your exact games. Use the service’s live catalog or game list, not a headline library total. For GeForce NOW, verify both storefront-account support and whether the individual title is eligible.
- Confirm the access model. Find out whether each game is included, must be purchased separately, is free-to-play, or requires publisher opt-in. A subscription does not necessarily include every game that can be streamed.
- Verify country and device support. Availability can vary by region, and a service’s supported device categories do not guarantee that every model or setup works.
- Read the recurring-use terms. Check current pricing, playtime or session limits, queues, and performance tiers for your country. These terms can change; no reliable, current primary-source price and hours comparison is established across all the services discussed here.
- Consider your network and location. Xbox warns that streaming performance is affected by internet connection, user location, device, and other factors. Its connection guidance and service requirements can change, so consult the live provider page rather than relying on old figures.
Set up a controller for supported devices
Xbox’s official requirements call for a compatible Bluetooth or USB controller on supported setups, although select games support touch controls. If you need an accessory, look for a compatible Bluetooth controller or a controller that connects by USB, and confirm it works with both your device and the cloud gaming service. Compatibility is device- and service-dependent; no particular controller model is established here as tested or universally supported.
