The Roddenberry Archive is the best first stop for exploring Star Trek ships and sets online: its site organizes starships, tours, props and set decoration, and planets for browsing. For a more immersive spatial experience, try The Archive app and check its current listing for device compatibility. If you want to command ships and fight rather than tour production designs, Star Trek Fleet Command is the better fit.
Start with the Roddenberry Archive for ships and sets
The Archive is designed for exploration rather than fleet gameplay. Its homepage groups material under “Starships,” “Explore,” and “Tours,” with additional categories for “Shuttles and Auxiliary Craft,” “Props and Set Decoration,” and “Planets.” Browse those sections to move between vessels, interiors, objects, and locations.

One useful starting point is the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 (2266). Its entry includes material on the Enterprise bridge and identifies it as the ship’s command center. That makes it a practical route for someone hoping to walk through the Enterprise bridge or see how ship and interior material are presented together.
Check the version and production notes
“Enterprise” does not always mean the same design or production object. The Archive’s page titles identify versions by year; use that detail before comparing ships or sets from different eras. Production notes also help distinguish something built or filmed from a digital model or a visualization based on concept art.

For example, the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 (2271) entry describes a Phase II production-art version. Its bridge concept was partially constructed before the project was reworked for Star Trek: The Motion Picture. The Archive says its team used Michael Minor’s production art to show what the set might have looked like if completed. Treat that scene as a concept visualization, not a bridge set that appeared on screen.

For immersive scenes, check The Archive app
The Archive app is a separate spatial-media option, not simply another section of the website. Its App Store listing describes immersive spatial scenes and artifacts. OTOY’s April 5, 2024 announcement described an expansion for Apple Vision Pro that included explorable ship interiors, a recreation of the Deep Space Nine Promenade, and additional ship models.

That announcement documents the 2024 expansion, not a complete current compatibility chart. Before choosing this route, check the live app listing for supported devices and access details; the available information here does not establish a full browser or hardware compatibility matrix.
Choose Fleet Command for gameplay, not set tours
Star Trek Fleet Command is a game in which players build and customize a fleet, recruit characters, and explore a game galaxy. Its official site presents it as a downloadable game, while its ships guide describes ships as a way to explore systems and take part in combat.

- Iconic Design: Authentically recreates the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds with distinctive saucer and swept-back nacelles
- Updated Details: Features added surface details, updated bridge dome, fan tail cargo, and saucer edge windows as seen in the show
- Easy Assembly: Skill level 2 kit includes 82 parts, full-color water-slide decals, and clear instructions for ages 10 and up
- Modern Style: Measures 17 inches long when built, capturing the sleek, modern look of the ship

Choose it if you want to use ships as part of fleet management and gameplay. It is not the same kind of experience as browsing archival ship interiors or touring production sets.

If you would like a physical object after exploring online, Star Trek ship models are a relevant collecting option. A StarTrek.com article published December 14, 2013 documented rotatable views of the Defiant, Borg Sphere, and Reliant from the Official Starships Collection. That page is historical evidence of model-based ship viewing and collecting, not proof that those models are currently available.

The official Star Trek Shop collectibles category lists licensed collectibles, but it does not establish which specific ship models are in stock. Check the exact model, seller, and availability before buying.
