The page has featured games such as Fortnite, Rocket League, Genshin Impact, and Fall Guys, but listings can change; check the page for what is currently available rather than relying on an old title list.

GOG: a free catalog with DRM-free positioning
GOG’s free-games category collects free games, DLC, and other free listings. The storefront is labeled DRM-free, which can appeal to players who want downloads not tied to the same kind of launcher-based access as some other storefronts. The catalog is live, so check it for current listings instead of assuming a specific title remains free.
DRM-free positioning does not mean every game has identical compatibility or installation steps. Open an individual game page to confirm supported operating systems and how it is delivered before downloading.

itch.io: indie, game-jam, and browser-playable projects
itch.io’s free-games category is a useful starting point for independent, experimental, short-form, and game-jam projects. The site also features browser-playable games, alongside downloadable projects, demos, and paid work. Its homepage describes itch.io as “a simple way to find and share indie games online for free.”

Amazon game offers: check the current claim page
Amazon can provide another route to game offers, but redemption can depend on the specific promotion. About Amazon’s guide to Prime game offers describes claims delivered through services such as GOG, Epic Games Store, Legacy Games, or the Amazon Games app; some offers may require linking accounts, redeeming a code, or installing an app.
That guide uses Prime Gaming terminology and may not match the current branding, regional availability, or redemption flow. Visit the current Amazon or Luna claim page and verify eligibility, destination store, and claim steps before proceeding.

When a subscription is worth considering
PC Game Pass is access while subscribed, not a free game giveaway
PC Game Pass may suit players who are willing to pay a recurring fee to try games from a catalog. Microsoft says subscribers can access library titles until the subscription is canceled or expires, or a game leaves the catalog. The titles and availability can vary over time, by region, plan, and platform. That makes Game Pass a paid access option, not a way to permanently claim games at no cost.

- Choose the access model. Decide whether you want an always-free-to-play game, a limited-time claim, an independent project, or a paid subscription catalog.

- Check account and delivery requirements. Confirm whether the game will be added to a store account, delivered by a code, played in a browser, or installed through an app or launcher.
- Confirm compatibility. Read the individual game page for operating-system and platform support, then follow its installation instructions.
