If you want to upload several finished videos to your own YouTube channel at once, start with YouTube Studio: it lets you select up to 15 videos per upload session. For a paid video library, Vimeo OTT supports batch uploads; Vimeo’s mobile app and cloud-storage options suit library workflows; and SproutVideo queues multiple files for sequential upload. YouTube’s spreadsheet-based bulk delivery is a separate workflow for eligible Content Manager partners, not a setting available to every channel.
Which service should you choose?
| Service or workflow | Best fit | How batch upload works | Important limit or distinction |
|---|---|---|---|
| YouTube Studio | Creators uploading videos to their own YouTube channels | Select multiple files from a computer in one upload session. | Up to 15 videos at a time; details and visibility still need attention for each video. |
| YouTube Content Manager | Eligible rights holders and partners delivering many assets | Package Uploader uses a spreadsheet with one metadata row per asset; higher-volume partners may use SFTP or Aspera. | Partner workflow, not generally available to ordinary channel owners. |
| Vimeo OTT | Publishers selling subscriptions or video purchases and rentals | Drag and drop a batch from a computer, or upload a batch from Dropbox. | Up to 250 GB per computer batch or 50 GB per Dropbox batch. Uploaded videos are private until placed in a collection or product. |
| Vimeo hosting and mobile app | Creators organizing a hosted library, including from a phone or supported cloud storage | Select several videos in the mobile app, or use listed cloud options such as Dropbox, Google Drive, and Box. | Videos count toward account storage. Vimeo’s under-200-GB guidance is per file, not a batch cap. |
| SproutVideo | Users who want a multi-file upload queue | Several videos enter a queue and upload one at a time. | The cited support article does not specify a numeric queue limit. |
For most people whose destination is YouTube, Studio is the simplest choice. Choose Vimeo OTT when you need to sell access to a catalog rather than simply publish videos on YouTube. The other options address different needs: mobile library management, cloud-sourced uploads, or a sequential upload queue.

Upload multiple videos to YouTube Studio
YouTube Studio’s desktop flow supports up to 15 selected videos at a time. Multi-select saves you from starting a separate upload for every file, but it does not fill in all the videos’ details for you or automatically make them public.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →- Open YouTube Studio and select Create, then Upload videos.
- Choose files from your computer. Select up to 15 videos for that upload session.
- Review and edit the details for each video, including its title and other publishing information.
- Choose the visibility you want for each video. You can publish now, keep a video private, or schedule its publication.
- Wait for the uploads and processing you need to finish, then check the individual video statuses in Studio.
Uploading is the transfer of the file to YouTube; publishing is making it available to viewers. If you close the upload window before choosing visibility, YouTube says the video is saved as private. Higher-resolution HD and 4K videos can take longer to process, depending on the video’s quality, length, format, and traffic.

The 15-video figure is the maximum number selected at once, not a promise that all videos will publish immediately. YouTube also applies a daily upload limit across desktop, mobile, and API; the cited help page does not state the limit amount. See YouTube’s computer upload instructions for current steps and restrictions.
Bulk delivery for YouTube Content Manager partners
YouTube documents a separate bulk-ingestion workflow for eligible partners managing rights-holder or distributor deliveries. It is not a way for any creator to unlock batch uploads in Studio.

- For many assets, use Package Uploader in Content Manager and prepare the spreadsheet metadata file with one row for each asset.
- Use the available spreadsheet pre-validation option to check metadata before delivery.
- For music-label Art Tracks, use the relevant Art Track spreadsheet or DDEX workflow where applicable.
- If you are a partner regularly delivering more than 100 assets a month, YouTube describes SFTP or Aspera as transfer options. Its guide says Aspera is faster and preferable for large media files.
YouTube distinguishes this partner-oriented package delivery from its basic Upload page, which is intended for partners with a few videos and does not provide batch processing or CMS integration. Eligibility and access depend on the partner workflow. Read YouTube’s upload-method guide rather than assuming these tools are available in a standard channel.

- Track upload and transcoding progress in the service.
- Wait for processing; Vimeo OTT emails when it is complete.
- Add each finished video to a Subscription Collection or a Purchase/Rental Product to make it available through the relevant offer.
An uploaded OTT video is private until it is placed in a subscription collection or a product for sale. OTT transcodes source videos into adaptive streaming files and multiple download resolutions; the guide lists output conditions for 4K, 1080p, and 720p. It also describes imports for larger libraries using Amazon S3, Cyberduck, or Transmit. Physical media is not accepted, and Vimeo advises contacting an account manager or sales for bulk-uploading help. Plan costs depend on uploaded video hours, so check Vimeo OTT’s current plan details rather than relying on an old quoted price. Full instructions and limits are in Vimeo OTT’s upload guide.
Vimeo library uploads from mobile or cloud storage

For uploads sourced outside the phone or computer, Vimeo’s guidance lists Dropbox, Google Drive, and Box among cloud options, alongside its upload page and mobile apps or software integrations. Vimeo recommends common formats such as MP4 and MOV, advises keeping individual files under 200 GB for successful uploads, and does not support videos longer than 24 hours. The under-200-GB advice is about an individual file; it is not the OTT batch limit. Videos count toward your account’s storage capacity. Check Vimeo’s mobile bulk-upload instructions and file preparation guidance for current details.
Vimeo also describes a YouTube integration for sharing Vimeo content to YouTube. Its integration page describes single-click sharing; it does not establish that uploading a batch to Vimeo will automatically batch-publish those videos to YouTube. See Vimeo’s YouTube integration details before building a workflow around it.

SproutVideo: a sequential multi-file queue
SproutVideo’s Multi-File Uploader accepts several files into a queue and uploads them one at a time. That can be useful when you prefer a queue over selecting files in separate sessions: an early file may become playable before the whole batch finishes. The cited support article does not give a numeric queue limit, so check the current uploader before planning a large delivery. Its article was last updated March 24, 2023, making it older than the current platform guidance cited for the other workflows. See SproutVideo’s multi-file uploader guidance.
Keep batch uploads organized and publish deliberately
- Prepare the files first. Use consistent filenames and keep a separate list of intended titles, descriptions, and visibility choices so each file gets the right details.
- Separate upload from release. On YouTube, select private or scheduled visibility when you need time to review a batch before viewers see it. On Vimeo OTT, place processed videos in the intended collection or paid product.
- Allow for processing. A completed transfer does not necessarily mean a video is ready at every resolution. YouTube notes that higher-resolution processing can take longer; Vimeo OTT tracks transcoding separately from upload.
- Check storage and source limits. Vimeo hosting files count toward account storage, Vimeo recommends keeping individual files under 200 GB, and OTT batch limits depend on whether the source is a computer or Dropbox.
- Keep rights and platform policies in view. Batch selection does not grant rights to music or footage and does not exempt a channel from YouTube’s rules. Confirm that you have the necessary rights and review YouTube’s current copyright and monetization policies before publishing a large set of similar or reused videos.
When the goal is a continuous YouTube stream instead
Batch-upload services store or distribute video libraries; they are different from a service that plays uploaded videos as a continuous YouTube live stream. If you have recordings or a playlist and want a 24/7 YouTube channel, StreamNeo is a separate cloud-streaming option: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It is not a substitute for batch-publishing a library of standard YouTube videos. StreamNeo runs the loop in the cloud, supports the video quality you upload up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. To try it, start a StreamNeo account.
