Start by checking your hardware against Steam’s requirements; if you play on one of MSI’s named Claw handhelds, MSI’s device-specific starting profile is Low graphics, FHD, fullscreen, V-Sync off, and an uncapped frame rate. MSI labels that profile “Over 50 FPS,” but does not show detailed test conditions, so it should not be treated as a desktop benchmark.
Start with your PC’s hardware
Steam lists minimum and recommended system requirements for Sifu. These are compatibility tiers, not promises of a particular frame rate, and Steam does not specify a resolution or FPS target for either tier.

If your PC is near or below the minimum tier, begin with a lower graphics preset and a resolution your system can sustain. If it meets the recommended tier, treat that as a compatibility starting point—not evidence that a particular preset or frame rate is guaranteed.
MSI’s recommended settings for supported Claw handhelds
MSI publishes a Sifu profile titled “Recommend Settings (Over 50 FPS)” for specific Claw models. Its settings are:
#1 Best Overall
- 1198412
- Graphics: Low
- Resolution: FHD
- Upsampling: not supported
- Display mode: Fullscreen
- V-Sync: Off
- Frame cap: Off / uncapped
- Frame generation: not supported
The listed devices are the Claw A1M, Claw 7 AI+ A2VM, Claw 8 AI+ A2VM, Claw 8 AI+ Polar Tempest Edition A2VM, Claw A8 BZ2EM, and Claw 8 EX AI+. MSI does not disclose a testing methodology alongside the settings, and the profile does not report results for desktop graphics cards. Use it as a manufacturer recommendation for those named handhelds, not as a universal PC preset. See MSI’s Sifu settings page.
How to tune settings on a desktop PC
The sources do not provide setting-by-setting desktop benchmarks, so there is no substantiated order for lowering individual options or universal FPS cap to recommend. Tune for your own display resolution and whether you prioritize steadier performance or image quality:
Rank #2
- 973112
- 5.02455E+12
- Check your CPU, GPU, memory, operating system, and available storage against Steam’s minimum and recommended tiers.
- Choose the resolution you actually want to play at. If performance is unsatisfactory, test a lower resolution before assuming a single graphics option is responsible.
- Try a lower graphics preset, then change individual options only if the game exposes them and you can compare the result on your system.
- Keep V-Sync and any frame cap aligned with your display and performance goal; the available sources do not establish a best desktop setting for either.
- Compare changes in the same gameplay conditions. Keep a setting only if it improves smoothness or image quality in a way you can observe.
This is a practical tuning method, not a claim that one setting has a measured performance impact across PCs. The best balance depends on the hardware, resolution, and the result you prefer.
What the update history does—and does not—tell you
Sloclap’s Patch 1.24 announcement, dated September 7, 2023, called it the final content update. The studio’s official site also lists Patch 1.26, dated October 19, 2023, as a hotfix. These dated notes establish the content-update milestone and a later hotfix; they do not independently establish that no technical changes occurred after those dates. The patch announcement describes content, not PC graphics performance: Sloclap’s Patch 1.24 announcement.
